Pepe the Frog is a white nationalist symbol, according to Hillary

I don't see it that way...his plan reminds me of Taiwan...an economic miracle of an island.....yet they have national health insurance funded by ........shopping! You spend money, a portion goes to health insurance.

I didn't really notice this the first time around, but I think it is worth pointing out that Gary would NOT be in favor of anything like that.

He's talked about replacing income tax with luxury and consumer tax..Taiwan's is funded largely by a 6percent sales tax which doubles as a lottery ticket...pretty neat setup really

The thing that Johnson brings to the job that's different from the competition is largely his lack of a huge ego...a good listener who doesn't seem panic prone under pressure..he admits easily that he has to be a team player to be an effective leader.

I don't get the sense he's in it to get rich. He hasn't shown dishonesty about anything.

The tax part, yes. I meant I don't think he'd be in favor of spending it on national health insurance.

Saw Carl Bernstein on teevee a day or two ago saying that Bill Weld might quit the Lib party ticket and endorse Hillary, in order to make sure Trump doesn't win.
I missed the first part of it, so I don't know if he was reporting a rumor, starting a rumor, reporting a scoop, or fantasizing. He seemed to be 100% serious about it, though.

HAHAHAHAHAHA.

Found the print version:

"I think that Bill Weld … is thinking about dropping out of this race if it looks like he and Gary Johnson might get Donald Trump elected," he said.
"Weld despises Trump. I don't think he's made up his mind, but it's certainly a point if it looks like that it would… go help Hillary Clinton. So stay tuned on that."

Not claiming any of this is true - just relaying what Bernstein said.

Who is bill weld?

What is this frog toon?
Bill Weld
68th Governor of Massachusetts
William Floyd "Bill" Weld is an American attorney, businessman, and politician who served as the 68th Governor of Massachusetts from 1991 to 1997. He is the Libertarian Party's nominee for Vice President of the United States in the 2016 election, sharing the ticket with Gary Johnson.

Bill Weld: Carl Bernstein’s Speculation That I Will Drop Out to Help Hillary Clinton Is ‘Wishful Thinking’

"Under no circumstances will our energies be diverted from our goal of winning the election," Weld says in response to Watergate journalist's suggestion that he might bolt.

Sounds serious, right? Er, signs point to no. Weld released the following statement this afternoon*:

I strongly believe that our Libertarian ticket of two former two-term Governors, fiscally responsible and socially inclusive, is the best bet for America in this year's election.

Gary Johnson and I will campaign with all our strength to make that case to the American people from now until November 8th. Under no circumstances will our energies be diverted from our goal of winning the election and serving our country.

And in a comment to CNN, Weld attributed Bernstein's remarks to "wishful thinking on the part of the two-party duopoly."

I guess this is new to me. What is objectionable? Being White? A Nationalist? or Both?

But why?

HAHAHAHAHAHA.

And yet:

The Libertarian vice presidential candidate, William F. Weld, said Tuesday that he plans to focus exclusively on blasting Donald Trump over the next five weeks, a strategic pivot aimed at denying Trump the White House and giving himself a key role in helping to rebuild the GOP.

While Weld insisted he still supports Johnson, he said he is now interested primarily in blocking Trump from winning the presidency and then potentially working with longtime Republican leaders such as Mitt Romney and Haley Barbour to create a new path for the party after the election.

He insisted he was not abandoning Johnson, although he signaled that bolting from the Libertarian Party might be a possibility in the future.

“I’m certainly not going to drop them this year,” Weld said.

Just last week, for example, Weld irked Johnson supporters when he said on MSNBC that he’s “not sure anybody is more qualified than Hillary Clinton to be president of the United States.”

HAHAHAHAHAHA. As someone once said.

nah...his main point is govt will stay out of your life choices and luxury tax will replace income taxes...his plan is to replenish the middle class so more people can actually buy things for a change or save money for a change

The monoply platform?

I'm happy if Weld does go on the attack against Trump. They both should. And against the Crooked Liar, too.

And yet:

Polls show that Johnson and Weld — who were initially thought to appeal mostly to anti-Trump Republicans — may be doing more damage to Clinton by siphoning away young voters.

But Weld is out to stop that. Because he thinks she's the most qualified candidate.

Must hurt to see your VP candidate start working to elect my presidential candidate, hmm?

And he's going to quit your party, too.

Can't blame him too much, though. Your Johnson has electile dysfunction. I think you'll be lucky to get 5% in the end.

RINO.

I especially like Johnson's defense of his brain farts: if the president actually knows something about the world, then they are more likely to start wars.

This has been the most entertaining election of my lifetime, by a huge margin.
