Maybe I don't understand it, but is he saying our starters would, per 40 minutes played, average 94 points on their own?

Yup. And if they all played 40 minutes a game, that sounds within reason. That would only leave 8 minutes per game at each position for reserves. They won't all play 40 minutes a game, though.

For Oden, 18.6 might be a little low depending if he Roy can begin to learn to run the offense through him. But assuming the same 16.7/per36, that translates to 18.6 (probably more like 14-15ppg).

The 13.0 reb is accounting for Camby having some shared minutes with Greg out there and causing some diminishing returns on his 12.8 reb/per36 (which comes out to more like 14 reb/per40). Still think he'll be around 10-11 rpg.

HCP's head just might explode when he sees this thread. You know how much he loves Per-40/PER numbers.

Pelton is higher than Hollinger in assists for all 5 players, and lower in rebounds for practically all 5. So they either disagree on team totals, or on what the substitutes will get.

Pretty good PER for our starters if it pans out.
