Holdhal got real pissy in his retort.
I don't get why Holdhal would be taking this so personally and getting worked up about it.
Well I'm guessing he isn't the one taking it all that personally, but instead his employer told him to write something as the team "blogger" (Kolde, Allen, Hat Guy?)
I turned against him in his first Summer League, when everyone thought he was so great for hogging the ball and preventing Koponen from showing anything.
You guys are still forgetting about PG players P.Mills, Armon Johnson and Elliot Williams. What are we going to do with those?
Filler. If I kept one, it would be Williams, and we haven't even seen him yet.You guys are still forgetting about PG players P.Mills, Armon Johnson and Elliot Williams. What are we going to do with those?

I share your optimism. Then again, I'm always optimistic about Portland's newest batch of future all-star rookies.I think assuming Williams may be "filler" is a likely error, I think he's gonna be pretty good if fully recovered from his surgeries which were corrective. In this draft he could easily have gone top 10.

Kanter has bad knees, so I hope he is gone.
Walker is a damn good PG
Kanter's knees checked out fine during the physicals last week.
So did Oden's
If this team drafts anyone with even a chance of bad knees they deserve to never win a title ever!!!
Kemba has much better PG skills compared to Bayless. And his leadership is underrated.
Everyone looks better coming out of college. Wait until Kemba starts playing in the actual league...
On the leadership issue, Jonny Flynn's single biggest trait coming out of college was his leadership, now look what's happened to him.
David Kahn and Kurt Rambis?
Oden's pre-draft physical was riddled with red flags.
So what is the issue with Enes Kanter?
His knees.
At only age 19, Kanter has already had serious issues with both of his knees, issues that are serious enough that some draft pundits believe he may not check out when subjected to NBA medical testing.
Knee issues at such a young age run the risk of becoming chronic and makes a Kanter selection a boom or bust pick in the truest sense of the phrase.
He has had a history of knee problems, and the risk it would be to take a center who has had knee trouble is very great. The most recent name that provides a perfect example of this is the 2007 first overall pick, Greg Oden. It would be incredibly detrimental for the Wolves to draft Kanter only for him to be off the court more than on the court due to injuries. This team cannot have anymore setbacks, and for Kanter to be a bust because of his knees, would be a complete catastrophe for Minnesota's team and fans.
Kanter has battled knee problems in the past and they may not currently be in tip top condition. Injury history is always a little frightening for teams when they are deciding who to draft.

Point is, leadership doesn't always transfer, especially when you're coming in as a rookie on a team full of veterans. Unless that guy is super good, do you think the other guys are going to want to listen to him?
Besides, leadership can be learned. Great players learn to be good leaders, ie. Rose, Nowitzki, Aldridge etc.
I read this on here all the time....... I have never seen this anywhere. Was it released or something?

Yup, just look at what happened to Mateen Cleaves...
I'd just wonder, I guess, why we'd move Bayless, and then draft a smaller...Bayless?
Simple. Bayless is not a PG.
