The 2016-17 Knicks will feature a Big 3 of Carmelo, D Rose & Porzingis. That probably is enough to make them competitive at least in the EAST, but not a title contender, but what if they were able to land Kevin Durant?
Longshot, but Phil Jackson is shooting his shot.
According to a source, Jackson told Rose of his plan to pursue Durant starting on July 1st.
The Knicks are not only selling Durant on Madison Square Garden and Madison Avenue, but also a roster that features a triangle we can all understand; Carmelo Anthony, Kristaps Porzingis and Rose, who turns 28 in October.
