I think I strongly implied that....most people possess many items not knowing where they were made.

How did Japan get into this? I said China and I said our fastest train....that's not true...the bullet train can accelerate from 0-150 in about 1 minute...300 mph in about 2 minutes.

...and then they do the same thing to us...brilliant strategy.

The only one I have ridden was Yokohama to Tokyo. I don't think it ever gets up to speed, Though I hear it can hit speeds in that neighborhood. Most of the time is at the stations, with passenger coming and going. Just like the train from Portland to Eugene I road a couple weeks ago. I am sure it never got over 65 before it was slowing for the next stop.

I mentioned a 300 mph train, for crying out loud. I also mentioned that it went from Beijing to the coast. I said it traveled at 300 mph. Where did I go wrong? Isn't Beijing in China?...geez, I just called it "the bullet train"...the one I was referring to is in China.
Sure it is. We sell them little, they sell much. Both of us going to zero hurts the hell out of them. They will not do that very long.

What point were you trying to make?
...completely different technology.
Why the "that's not true" part? What did I say that's not true? I think it's you that missed what you declared....Jesus tap dancing Christ, Lanny...my post actually backed up what you said...my point is that China's train system is far superior to ours, which is what what you were talking about...am I wrong?
...go back and read it again...if that doesn't work, read it again.

Perhaps you said it inadvertently.
No...^^^...Lanny, you're slipping...please go look again, I was replying to Marz, not you.

I probably should let you guy go on. But may I suggest, Lanny has me on ignore so he thinks you and he are the only ones in the thread. But then maybe not.

So you claim. But I say they will. They have much more power to put the hurt on their own people than we do. When prices at Walmart go up, there is going to be political hell to pay here. A few million Chinese people could starve to death and Xi would still be in power. Not that any loss of trade with the US would cause that. There are other markets to sell to.
This is a stupid self-destructive fight that will hurt both countries. But only in the US can we vote the moron who started the fight out of office.

You left out he's an idiotic moron with a fifth or sixth grade level of understanding, which I think attributes far too much intellect to him, aka Mr. Potato Head.So you claim. But I say they will. Did you forget what Omarosa said? “If you ever see me in a fight with a bear, pray for the bear."
The difference is that you don't have to see what the person ignored person says unless you click on it which I don't in the case of the one person I've got on ignore. You? No, not you. I like you....that's one of the main reasons I won't use the "ignore" feature.
...and what good does the "ignore" do when the poster can still see what the ignored person says when they are quoted?
Did I fuck up? Oh well, at least that's a first in my perfect life.No...^^^...Lanny, you're slipping...please go look again, I was replying to Marz, not you.

Clearly, it doesn't....yes and the price of what they sell to us goes up...how does that help you and I?
