I dont get it. I really want us to get a NFL team. I dont understand why we werent aggressive with the oakland raiders. It sucks when las vegas seems to be falling through and san antonio is the city brought up. Really? There are a good number of raiders fans in portland just like there are niners fans. Because they used to play the two on local tv back in the day.

People try to say we cant support a mlb or nfl team. Thats bullshit.

Plus we have more and more people move here every year. People from back east who love pro sports. Pretty soon it's going to become ridiculous because our metro population will be too large to ignore.

Everyone's favorite team president dashes our hopes. The NHL is totally waiting for Seattle to get an arena and let them be good enough for our "local" team, like the NFL and MLB treats us, aren't they?
