I would recommend Paint shop pro for anyone interesting in starting up with GFX. Its costs only $99.00 and it pretty powerful and there are many tutorials with this.

Photoshop CS2 is over $1000.00 (when bought legally from adobe) and I would only recommend this for experienced users.
