We continue to get good news regarding Michael Pineda.
Today - 6 IP, 6 H, 2 ER, 0 BB

Don't want to get over confident but, it looks like the Yanks are going to add a very good young pitcher to their staff. (of course if he stays healthy)

Keep your fingers crossed --
Tanaka + Nova + Pineda = 3 very good young pitchers !

I must admit, I am getting very excited over the possibilities with these 3 rounding out the starting staff. Whew. I know, I know...it's still way too early.

Rick how can you not be excited. I share it with you also. Forget that's it is early. The Yankees needed this, along with Phelps and Nuno we have depth. Listen, problems can strike in many ways, just ask the Mets, but at least they have performed well in the small sample size, and along with Betances allow us to get young and with cost control with the obvious exemption of Tanaka.
