You really think I threw the first stone? Here we go again. Lets go back and see if these guys had just talked about the topic at hand, it would have never gotten out of hand.
You called him a prick. You called him a jerk.
You were absolutely fucking ridiculously out of line.
I know you work for the Blazers, and I know that you love the rah-rah stuff because of that. There is NO REASON for you to personally attack other posters.
You started an entirely legitimate thread, and some people didn't see a lot of value in it. Whether they were right or wrong in their judgment is immaterial, because they did not treat you with disrespect the way you treated others.
And now YOU are playing the victim? Still? Give me a break. You're acting like a child. All day long you've been whining and complaining and bitching and sniping.
And if you think i'm the only one who took offense to the way these guys acted you are wrong. It looks like to me about 10 other regular posters around here also thought those guys were out of line.
That leaves, what, two dozen that thought it was fine?
The simple fact is that you are the only one who clearly violated the terms of service by personally attacking another poster, and you keep pointing fingers at others even after you ADMITTED you were wrong.
As for your second point, I don't want it to look like I started a thread on our BLAZER forum about Pirates. I see some of the threads guys start on here and would be quite embarrassed to have my name connected to such a bad topic. First off, I didn't realize people could change peoples thread titles. That's not what I typed on my computer, and would appreciate it if you took my name off it. It's as if I am being misquoted in a newspaper article. thankyou. If it means anything, I would love to get back to talking about basketball. This never happened at BBF.
It never happened at BBF because it was much more heavily moderated. If I were moderating at BBF, I would have argued that you should have been suspended because of your unprovoked and entirely inappropriate personal attack.
Here? The rules are more lax. I think that it's more fun that way, and I think that most of us would agree.
With these lax rules, though, come some responsibility. Responsibility to not continually whine and play a victim, I would argue, is a key one.
