Plan A sign Aldridge and Monroe; not gonna happen.
Plan B sign Monroe or Aldridge; not gonna happen

Its time for Plan C

LaMarcus to Knicks for Calderon, Porzingas would be amazing
LaMarcus to Rockets for DMo, Ariza, picks
LaMarcus to Suns for a bundle of first round picks
Afflalo to Knicks for something mediocre more likely
Robin to Clippers if they loose DeAndre
Wes to Kings for something

Neil needs to get whatever he can for these guys. We have the cap room to absorb crappy contracts like Calderon.

Yeah there's no chance any of that happens.

Or he's gonna get absolutely nothing. I'm done being optimistic.

Plan C - Cut everyone
Plan D - Dismantle
Plan E - Every free agent goes
Plan F - F**k it all!
Plan G - Gut the veterans
Plan H - Have cap space
Plan I - I have a plan

.....you get the idea.

What are plan X and Z?

Best case scenario, LA chooses Phoenix and we get Bledsoe in a sign and trade. Most likely scenario we enter tank mode and Neil gets fired

Theres no chance they give us Bledsoe; he was in the recruiting pitch. Best we could hope for is Len and maybe picks.

Afflalo has signed a 2 year deal with the Knicks already, we're not trading him anytime soon

D league...we're checking you out! This is what Pops would do

We didn't have Monroe yesterday, don't have him today..nothing has really changed after all

No, Pops would not be in this situation in the first place.
Pops has made D league players into starters..he's the master of that. He's also lost out on players he wanted to sign in free agency. I disagree with your take here Rasta

He and every player haven't signed anything; everything is a verbal agreement until July 9th. All those agreements can be finalized as a sign and trade. Happens every year. It gives their new team extra cap room.

Agree on the D-Leaguers, but I'm blanking on the free agents.

I think it has; LMA now has even a more clear choice than Monroe: Monroe looked at up and coming Milwaukee, then looked at Portland and decided on the team most likely to be a winner. LMA will be looking now at San Antonio and a Portland team without Monroe, the choice is very easy.
