Being a hyper sensitive group of fascists only works with the dying majority of whites. From my years and years of daily interactions with hispanics things are going to get worse for you in the future.
No. His manager and agent gave him the name. I watched his bio

I see both sides of yall argument. Calling MM racist is ridiculous. MFers need to stop slapping the racist tag on someone just for different views on the intent of someone else's words.

It's just so different. He didn't call him an ape or a monkey. He referred to his dominance by saying he was King Kong at the end of a game.Gave him. Did he call himself that afterward? Yes that's my point. He has a privilege not afforded to us.
Besides, we don't call each other monkeys or apes.![]()
Several have met me. Old timers though, before I movedSince none of us have ever met you since you live in Rockets country, how would any of us know?
It's just so different. He didn't call him an ape or a monkey. He referred to his dominance by saying he was King Kong at the end of a game.
That's stupid. So, if a 6 year old black child is swinging around on the monkey bars, are they just bars until he or she leaves?Stop justifying it.
Not sure why you keep trying to explain the context to me when it does not matter.
Hard and fast rule:
No monkey or ape references.
Figure. It. Out.

You're right about those words, and if someone uses one of them it's wrong. He didn'tDon't say silly, meaningless things. You're also comparing apples to oranges.
You can refer to the inanimate objects in any way you please.
Humans who have been called ape, monkey, and coon as a pejorative....
Yeah... How bout no...
Yeah... Why am I having to explain this in 2019?
Ugh... This shit is tiring....

I really hate generalizations as well. In fact I think it was Dviss' generation that taught our generation to not generalize.Obviously I understand what he's saying, but I don't like when people talk in generalizations. Call it a pet peeve, or whatever you want. I don't understand why disliking when people talk in generalizations about other groups is such a bad thing, but I digress.
I have you on ignore and that won't change but I can give you an example of you bullying which directly led to mods dm'ing you telling you to stop.I'd love to have you give me a few examples of me "bullying" people.
I mean I get it. Just wish he'd give me more respect since he knows me... It's not a matter of what I think he means. I know he doesn't mean it as a generalization.I really hate generalizations as well. In fact I think it was Dviss' generation that taught our generation to not generalize.
When I first joined this site I used to get upset @dviss1 as well for generalizing. It came to the point that I put him on ignore. Then I left the site(Not because of Dviss, but because of school requirements)
When I came back I learned that unfortunately I can't change his words or how he views the world. That's fine we can view it different and still respect and appreciate one another. @dviss1 has actually helped me understand a few things with my sidejob via DM. He's also shown on the forum as well as in person he's someone who deserves my respect. Therefore he's earned it and nothing can change that.
I can only choose to understand that he doesn't mean ME when he generalizes. It still grates on my nerves but my response is to understand and ignore the frustration it gives me. While also understanding the he feels similar frustrations when someone is being racist. Or using racist terms.

But once again just like last time you'll deny it only for a mod to then be forced to come in and confirm it. Then you'll go MIA and never respond to said mod.
That's just who you are.
I don't await your response, in fact I won't see it.
Have a nice life.

Funny thing is, in regards to me, you do this shit more than I do it to you. Yet you complain about it at the same time. You're guilty of all of this, yet act like your above it. Guess where I got some of this from?
Thing is, I have a point based on how I view things, you troll for fun. Also if you're trying to ignore my posts, theres a feature that helps with that. Trust me, my feelings wont be hurt. Have a good night.
Don't you think context has anything to do with it?So King Kong is not a beast?
ContextSo King Kong is not a beast?
I think it has EVERYTHING to do with it.Don't you think context has anything to do with it?
Again, I'm on contexts side here.Context
I think that you think you are. I can see a whole refreshingly different context than your subjective one.Again, I'm on contexts side here.
How about when describing a Black person? Mind you, that White supremacists have effectively usurped the meaning, at least for a Black person who has to adjust to being called a monkey or some sort of dog whistle. Not saying that decent White folk don't mean anything ill willed about the expression King Kong, just saying try to have some empathy for a human being being derided here and there all of their life. Just out of empathy, how about using some other expression like 'enforcer' or big man in the middle?I think it has EVERYTHING to do with it.
A basketball announcer saying a dominant inside player was like King Kong at the end of a game is COMPLETELY different than some piece of shit saying Michelle Obama looks like an ape in shoes.

King Kong is a fucking gorilla. Stop playing stupid.....
WTF is wrong with folks who think this shit is ok???
And in person, I'd clown your ass for not getting it.
