On April 15th, MLB will commemorate jackie robinson day by allowing moajorl eaguers to wear #42, which was retired league-wide a few years back. So far, Dimitri young and Ken Griffey Jr will wear it. NOTE: The retirement was used with a grandfather clause, which stated that players currently wearing 42 may continue. This is why as of now, Mariano Rivera, amazing ohmygosh closer for the Yankees is still wearing 42 on a regular basis. also, becuase hes the shit.

if he played better, id spell his name right

apparently, the entire Dodgers team (which should be interesting for the official scorer)

</div>Obviously a comment to draw backlash. The Godfather might not be the best in the MLB (Francisco) but he's top 3 or 4.

the only person ill give you over him is Nathan in Minny, andthats debatable. Ill take Mariano over Francisco.

how would that change the situation?

not really...he didnt need more rest (he may have gotten it because he wasnt used) Torre said that he wants to rest rivera more, but rivera has repeatedly said that he can still pitch back to back days.
