Easy....Aminu was shooting 33% after three games.

Great game tonight, but that is 1 game out of 4 on the offensive end.
Isn't that his average?

Oddly enough I think they both missed a lot of easy shots tonight. What Im more concerned about is what do they do if Dame and or CJ are cold for a whole game. The difficulty of the shots they’re making is insane. I know they’re absolutely special offensive players but thats hard to keep up. Aminu and Moe and really everyone is gonna continue to have numbers and open shots.
Next game will be Mo's turn to can some threes. They will leave him open, the fans will be behind him, and he's due

Even if he doesn't, his defense on PG has been excellent and that alone earns Mo playoff minutes.

What I like best about Aminu is his free throw shooting

Look at the big picture. In this case, the whole 4 games or even his whole playoff career. His playoff numbers are consistently better than his regular season numbers. This is over many years not just 3 games.

'Big picture', Aminu has shot it much better in the post season than in the regular season. That had not been the case so far this series until Game 4.

Not just shooting. Scoring, rebounding, assists, everything. Look at the first posts of this thread or check basketball-reference. Aminu has stepped it up in playoffs his whole career. But why are we even arguing about this? We won a big playoff game. He played well. Let's enjoy it.

The Big Picture to me is that Aminu, even in regular season, ignoring the notion of "Playoff Aminu" which may or may not be a real thing when it comes to 3-point shooting, is an above average starting PF. He's a huge bargain and he is the type of player (doesn't need to score to be good but can score) that get's more valuable as a team moves closer to championship level.

In terms of the contract, I definitely think he's one of the better values on the team. I guess they might be proving me wrong, but I think you gotta have consistent scoring from the 3/4 position in order to be a contender. I'm not sure Aminu / Harkless have proven they can be consistent yet.

If your 3/4 are good defenders, I think you don't need consistent scoring per se, you just need consistent threat to score so they can't be left alone. Aminu at 35% regular season is right at that threshold. Leave him open, you gain nothing as 35% puts him right at our scoring efficiency overall. Leave him open often and he will likely hit >35% just due to rhythm. Add to that that Aminu's scoring around the rim is a lot more efficient than his 3 point scoring and he's fine as a threat to score. Moe is another matter. Last year he hit 41% of his threes and this year only 28%. Seems he at least has the potential to be a good 3 point shooter. If we want to contend, Moe needs to practice the shit out of his 3 point shot, and FT's for that matter. Defensively, Nurk, Chief, Moe make our interior defense really good. Those two just have to be enough of a threat to score so Dame & CJ can operate.

Chief IMO is the best rebounder on the team.
He has a freakish wingspan for his height...I read somewhere it's the same as Nurk's...tied for the longest wingspan on the team
