Right. The division winners would all get top three seeds, dropping Utah to 4 and Portland to 5. Portland would then not have home court advantage in Round 1, since Utah had a better record.
Of course, if Portland ended up facing the Southwest division champion in a later round, Portland would have home court due to superior record.
Wrong, If your the 5th seed and you get the SW division leader who has the 5th best record in the conference, you get homecourt. It happened in the Utah/HOU playoff series few years back.
