Any more info? I need to know when they go on sale!

I got bad news for you folks that are not season ticket holders. You are going to have a tough time, I also heard that many season ticket packages have been sold recently. People are buying in long-term to get their playoff tickets this year. Time to man up and invest in the Blazers.

Yeah, I live in LA so that's not gonna happen. I might fly down if I get tix through online though...shit, it'll probably be easier and cheaper to get Blazer playoff away games to be honest.

Yeah, I have a hard time believing if any individual tickets will be on sale. If they are, it'd be last minute as the Blazers know they'd sell out in minutes.
I had the chance with quarter-season tickets to get playoff tickets, but didn't feel like plunking down $1,000 for two seats and pay for the full 16-game package. I'd imagine the scalpers who bought season tickets just to sell them, will also buy up all the playoff tix and make us pay ridiculous prices on craigslist or stubhub.

how lame. I imagine first round tix will be at LEAST double face value. I fucking loathe scalpers...even if I had tix, I'd sell them here for face value.

I wonder how long until I get my tickets. I guess they have to wait until we know where/who we are playing. Though it could just be for round 1 game 1-2 at home or something.

mgb-
you should have got an email about playoff tix
there are a couple options
i chose the option to pick them up at the lakers game..you have to bring id and print out the email though

I'm pumped to pick up my tickets at the Laker game. I bet the line at the season ticket booth is going to be super long...

Doh! I forgot about that. Never mind. :)

KGW reported during their news show this morning that the Trail Blazers are expected to make an announcement regarding playoff tix later today or later this week (cant remember which).

Playoff ticket announcement coming soon! Love ya Mediocre Man! :devilwink:

I'm telling you, between the League Levy of their tickets, full-season holders, and the large amount of half-season holders, there aren't enough tickets to go around.

I loathe scalpers and scalping too . . . but let me just say that I lost a lot of money on my season tickets this year - between travel and other commitments I can only go to about a third or less of the games (I didn't count this year) and almost always took a loss reselling my other tickets on CraigsList. I mean, one or two games I got my cost back, but I often lost $20 (and felt lucky) to as much as $50 or more every game I had to resell.

So you know what, if I can't go to a playoff game I am going to try to recoup some of my loss. Sorry. I'm not a broker, just a season ticket holder. I really considered not renewing this year. If I had been able to resell my extra games at my cost, I would feel different, but a lot of fans got a lot of good deals all through the season, at the expense of me and other season ticket holders. It was easy to get seats under face value, right? Look at it that way.

Now, when I was an avid Deadhead, I never never resold extras at more than face value . . . .

Crap, I was hoping most of you STH would opt for the delivery option. I too will be in that line, hope we don't miss the start of the game!

Why were you taking losses on your tickets? I sold 30 of my 41 tickets online and made enough of a profit to cover all but $40 of my total costs. 11 pairs of tickets for $40, plus the first right to playoff tickets, it was a steal.

I had no problem selling tickets against Memphis' and Sacramento's of the world for face value, after fees (when I used Stubhub). You asking price was clearly under market value or you were selling last minute.

Nope. If you buy me a beer, I'll save you a spot in line!

I guess it's the price point - mine are face value $145 each, my actual cost is under $110 I think. I was lucky to sell games like mid-week Memphis and Minny for $80 each, and sometimes took less, or couldn't sell them at all.

I called Season Ticket reps.. they have been sold out this season for about a month.. next years season tickets wont be on sale until June after the seat relocating is done. so we are kind of SOL for this years playoffs.

They aren't "sold out", they just set the cutoff for march 16th till after the open house.

hmm all I know is what the guy told me, maybe he is just saying that to urge us into buying sooner, even though he said they arent selling more until relocated seats in June.

The Trail Blazers are playoff-bound and the obvious question now is - how can you get tickets? Here's what we've learned from the Blazers front office.

Single playoff game tickets will go on sale next week, either April 16 or April 17, at noon. If you are a season ticket holder, you will have access to a private pre-sale for single game tickets on April 13 at noon.

That same day, others can check out the re-sale page on the Trail Blazers Web site. That's where season ticket holders can offload their tickets.

The Trail Blazers will be selling playoff tickets for anywhere between $10 and $145.
