Various statistical category totals for the four games.

Two key takeaways for me.
1. Lillard seriously taken out of his game (obvious)
2. Collins did relatively well in every category (including being near the bottom in turnovers)

Points:

2. Lillard - 74
3. Aminu - 69
4. Nurkic - 47
5. Turner, Collins - 28
7. Harkless, Connaughton - 16
9. Napier, Davis - 11

9. Leonard, Connaughton - 4
11. Baldwin IV - 3
12. Napier, Swanigan - 2
14. Layman - 1

Assists:
1. Lillard - 19
2. McCollum - 14
3. Turner - 10
4. Collins, Connaughton - 6
6. Aminu - 5
7. Nurkic, Aminu - 4
9. Baldwin IV, Napier - 3
11. Swanigan, Layman - 1
13. Leonard, Davis - 0

Steals:
1. Nurkic - 6
2. McCollum, Lillard - 5
4. Aminu - 4
5. Napier, Collins, Turner - 3
8. Layman - 2
9. Baldwin IV, Connaughton - 1
11. Davis, Leonard, Harkless, Swanigan - 0

7. Baldwin IV, Nurkic - 3
9. Collins - 2
10. Harkless, Connaughton, Swanigan - 1
13. Leonard, Layman - 0

Overall Contribution Points:

- Formula = Points + Rebounds + (Assists * 1.5) + (Blocks * 1.5) + (Steals * 2) - (Turnovers * 2)
1. McCollum - 123.5
2. Aminu - 111.5
3. Nurkic, Lillard - 98.5
5. Collins - 54
6. Turner - 50.5

11. Leonard - 12.0
12. Napier - 11.5
13. Baldwin IV - 9
14. Swanigan - 4.5

I would say that Aminu had the best all around series. McCollum was a close second.

Curious what your reasoning was for awarding more points for assists, steals, blocks and turnovers

Now that I've got totals done, how about the top single game stats?

Points:
1. McCollum - 38
2. Aminu - 27
3. McCollum - 22 (twice)
5. Aminu - 21

Rebounds:
1. Aminu - 15
2. Davis - 13
3. Nurkic - 11 (twice)
5. Aminu, Davis - 8

Assists:
1. Lillard - 7
2. Lillard, McCollum - 6
4. Turner - 5 (twice)

Steals:
1. Nurkic, McCollum - 3
3. a bunch of people at 2

Blocks:
1. Nurkic - 2 (twice)
2. A bunch of people at 1

Turnovers:

1. Lillard - 8
2. Lillard - 7
3. McCollum, Turner - 4
5. Aminu, Napier (twice) - 3

Discussed it on the board for a bit before the season (or was it last season, don't recall when we started the contribution stats). Anyway, an assist you are helping the team function better and contributing to either a two or a three pointer. Blocks you are rejecting the opposing team's attempt to score but don't necessarily gain possession. Steals you are taking a possession away from the opponent and giving one to your team. Turnover, opposite of a steal.

Maybe not the greatest logic but it seemed agreeable to those who were involved in the discussion.

Gramps...

It would be interesting to compare their per minute stats, to find efficiency. In lieu of that, here's
the players ordered by minutes played:

It would be interesting to compare their per minute stats, to find efficiency.

Those Hoopsstats sites have a box where you can click to get per 48.
