By the way, how about Playoff Aminu? Great game as usual. Terrific at the free throw line under pressure.

Yes he played great. No doubt. My concern was who would be the 3rd scorer. Today was Kanter, but we will still need Hark or Aminu to step up when Kanter does not....unless Hood can do it off the bench at SF.

What i watched was a Thunder team that looks tired and is dealing with nagging injuries. They will not get better during this series either as the Blazers are hitting them with everything. Every time either George or Westbrook were off the court they were immediately on ice. Westbrook's knees are not getting better. PG has a shoulder issue and his shot is showing it. Adams also is hurting. His Shoulder seems to be bothering him also. The Blazers absolutely need to win game two. If they can get the next game the task becomes too tough for guys with those kinds of nagging injuries.
I'm very proud of how hard this team worked out there today. They stepped up and played solid defense and never quit putting pressure on PG and Russ.

They had some real good looks that just didn't go. Everyone is talking about Dame's long three but that open corner three from Aminu would have sealed the deal also. CJ had a pretty good look with a minute left also and Harkless was open a few times.

While this might be correct for a lot of this season it is incorrect today.

It was loud as fuck in there and I've been to a lot of big games.

Wrong about the crowd. It was way louder than the Lakers game because like 1/3 of that crowd were Lakers fans. Not too many OKC fans there today.

we don’t have to go to the game to see the empty seats in the third quarter and everyone sitting down in the fourth. It wasn’t that rowdy.

LMAO, wrong....

The crowd was standing pretty much the whole 4th.

If you watch the tape of the game you’ll see that the crowd noise was sporadic, never sustained for more than 2-3 possessions, and overall it was not very helpful. You were probably just drunk

Nope, not a drop of alcohol, nice try buddy. You don't fucking know shit obviously.

I was at the game. The crowd was yelling the entire fucking game. SO many "Let's Go Blazer" chants and the crowd erupted with every shot and good defensive play. Even when OKC was on a run, people cheered and clapped to get the team back into it. Also- not much vocal support for OKC which is different than regular season when the opposing team has a voice. Start of the third, people are still getting back from bathroom and getting beer, true, but they got back eventually and carried the game for the guys. That's true of every arena in the league. I've been to all 29.

Maybe it was idk, but it didn’t seem like it visually at all, and there absolutely were numerous empty seats in the third
Because people were getting back from halftime. Goddamn man.

So your going to base it off of the background noise picked up from mics compared to people that have gone to games for years? Do you realize how ridiculous that is, or are you oblivious?

All I’m telling you is that after watching all the playoff games, the blazers home crowd seemed like one of the quietest. I doubt they are turning down the volume on the blazer crowd. I think you just have low expectations for playoff games.

I get they THINK it was loud.

Maybe twenty people screaming in their ear in the 300 section doesn’t translate to a loud stadium.

Not sure why most-all the other stadiums sound louder on tv...

There are always empty seats for the first 5-7 mins of the third. People are in line getting popcorn. Go to a game a few times and you will see what i'm talking about here. The Rose Garden was very loud and very electric today. The Fans were great bro.

You are wrong. It's that simple. If you were at the game, you would've known how loud it was. I can't speak to sound issues for ABC and how they mike the games. They've only aired two so far. I don't have low expectations for playoff games. I have attended playoffs games in Cleveland, Boston, Portland, Memphis, Los Angeles (Lakers and Clippers), and New Orleans. I know what the playoffs sound like and this crowd was fucking loud beginning to start. People that sit around me who don't usually cheer were screaming their brains out.

Alright I’ll take your word for it lol

Holy hell.

Moda Center sounded as loud as any other arena. I think you're looking for something to complain over.

Reading about the extent of Paul George's injury. Sounds like he is going to continue to play through pain as i guess he can't injure it further but he will need surgery after the season.
Not sure how to verify that but that is the overall consensus on the Thunder forums.
