Dame is literally the only player that showed up tonight. Maybe Trent.

This is why I want to trade CJ. It's feast or famine and right now it's famine. He's killing our team.

I don't know how many 5 man lineups he's tried in the second quarter. They have one lineup that has proven to work. Dame/CJ/Gary/Melo/Nurk.

Instead we ran Mario, sometimes Simons, minutes with both Wenyen and Nurk, Nurk and Hassan with Melo at SF.

Like, what the fuck?

It only makes sense to use them when two of their bigs are on the floor. If not, it only kills our spacing and has us scattering all over on defense. How the hell can we see this but this fucking idiot coach cant
 
Well that was a pathetic effort. We have to get our offense working. We just need to run our sets. They aren't doing anything special we just need to focus on our game on that end. We also have to clog that paint and rebound on defense... they're not going to out shoot us. Still have a shot in this one, can't give up.
 
This is where having it on a neutral floor can come up to bite them in the butt. They don't really have the luxury of saying they are glad to be 1-1 heading to Portland.

They can say it or not say it. They have to play better, neutral floor or not.
 
least we have our traditionally very powerful 3rd quarter to look forward to

Sorry but dame has not shown up tonight either. He's been lethargic on defense and barely closing out on shooters while getting lost on double teams. And he's making terrible reads of the weakside defense while he has the ball. That last offensive possession was an abomination in clock management.

the spacing is killing his ability to read what's happening.
 
Really to much iso play that half CJ 3-11 and Melo 1-5. We shooting 20 percent from the 3 and only 5 assist.
 
refs screwing us the whole half doesn't fucking help otherwise we'd be within 10pts. Expect this for the rest of the series cause theres no way the nba will let lebron and lakers lose in the first round

The only lineup that has been a consistent positive since the restart is Dame/CJ/Trent/Melo/Nurk.

Yeah, we'll probably get killed on the boards, but they're getting killed there anyways and they can't score on the other end.
 
Pitiful effort so far. I'm going back and forth between being pissed and just bored because we are playing with no intensity.
 
On the plus side, they always start off the 3rd quarter strong...
 
3-15 from 3s and overall 34% fg ain't gonna cut it.

I bet we don’t win another game again in this series
 
Blazers shooting 35% FG, and 20% from 3. I don’t think it’s because of any spectacular D by the Lakers. Blazers are simply just missing shots.

Blazers will turn it up a notch in the second half and make a game of it. We’ve got Dame!
