One for me and one for Lucia!two guest bedrooms with their own large bathroom.
Just sayin.
Yeah they don't have good options.
Lets say they move Davis to center. He doesn't want to band inside against our bigs extended minutes of the game. They also don't have guard depth. Then they can only play one of McGee/Dwight, and the other one will be very unhappy to get DNP. When they trap Lillard with Davis, they would need Kuzma to protect the rim? That will really open up the floor for us on offense. They don't have experience playing any games with the bulk of Davis minutes at center, they'd be having to test entirely new rotations in the middle of the playoffs.
If they stick with their current lineup the middle is clogged. They don't have spacing. They are allowing us to play Nurk and Whiteside to their strengths.
They have lost one game and you already hear excuses, complaining, players not happy with roles, players unhappy with minutes, shifting the blame to shooters and others. They sound like a mentally weak team.
OK, old man yelling at clouds time! What is it with guys like AD or LMA flinching away from playing center? It isn't because of any physical short-comings on their part - which rather implies it is psychological.
Davis has been injured multiple times playing center. He doesn't like it because he gets sprained ankles and he gets banged on. Ticky Tac injuries that add up. Sore Knee, Sore Ribs, Sore Elbow and so on....OK, old man yelling at clouds time! What is it with guys like AD or LMA flinching away from playing center? It isn't because of any physical short-comings on their part - which rather implies it is psychological.
Hope not.I’d be shocked if Portland didn’t have serious foul troubles in this one. You think the league is gonna let Wenyen Gabriel clamp AD again? It’s 8 on 5 tonight.

The series is played one game at a time. The only thing that matters right now is this game. Go get it Blazers!

Fair enough. The Blazers players and coaches need this mindset.
However us fans can daydream of this win, the next round, the title, whatever we want... unless you believe our focus impacts the game.

How would a healthy Pau Gasol affect this series i wonder?

He signed for the Blazers this year.A healthy Gasol would be playing for the Lakers.

I swear that it was 8 v 5 the last gameI’d be shocked if Portland didn’t have serious foul troubles in this one. You think the league is gonna let Wenyen Gabriel clamp AD again? It’s 8 on 5 tonight.
You've got your priorities in order!Lakers are going to come out with a lot of emotion. Blazers need to keep their heads and weather an initial storm.
Sorry Joe Biden. Have to watch replay of speech.
Yeah not letting them get offensive boards has to be the one thing we want to change on our defensive end. On your other point, unless Nurk is now considered a superstar for some reason, we don't have two superstars. Well I guess Melo is a superstar but not because of the level he plays at now. Dame is our only all-star and superstar. CJ isn't even an all-star. I think Nurk has the second most impact on our chances to win. CJ is our third most important player, even though he is obviously our second best scorer (Nurk defends, facilitates and scores very well) and not too far behind CJ is the impact that Melo has on our chances to win.I expect LeBron and AD to be aggressive out of the gate. How our 2 superstars will respond is the question. Also, we've got to minimize their second-chance opportunities.
You could as easily say the only reason we were in that game was because of free throws. The only reason they were in that game were because of free throws. Those complaints were valid, as they usually are against big market teams. If you thought that game was officiated equally, or that guys like lebron and AD don’t get officiated differently, you’re an idiot.
I was talking more about from a Blazers fan perspective when mentioning superstars not from a league perspective, but I get it.Yeah not letting them get offensive boards has to be the one thing we want to change on our defensive end. If I read all the complaining on this board about the refs fixing the game and screwing PDX in game 1 you'd think the Lakers shot 3x the free throws as the Blazers.
The Lakers did shoot 31 free throws, yes thats a ton.
But the Blazers shot two more.
Go Blazers bear LA
