• This is the second meeting between the Trail Blazers and Warriors in the NBA Playoffs. Golden State defeated the Trail Blazers last year, 3-1, in the Western Conference Semifinals.
• LAST MEETING: Stephen Curry scored 34 points to lead all scorers and the Warriors defeated the Trail Blazers, 119-113, at the Moda Center. CJ McCollum scored 32 points to lead Portland and Damian Lillard added 31 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Jusuf Nurkic returned to action for Portland, while Golden State was without Kevin Durant and head coach Steve Kerr.
• Since Portland became a franchise in 1970, Portland has made the playoffs 33 times, while Golden State has qualified 17 times. The two teams have both reached the playoffs in all 17 of those seasons.

CONNECTIONS
• Warriors head coach Steve Kerr played one season for the Trail Blazers during the 2001-02 campaign. Kerr averaged 4.1 points and 1.0 assists in 65 games as a Trail Blazer.
• Warriors guard Klay Thompson is the son of former Trail Blazer Mychal Thompson, who the Trail Blazers selected first overall in the 1978 NBA Draft. Thompson played seven years in Portland (1978-86).
