I'm not here to say RoCo is amazing, that giving up two 1st round picks was a great move, but he wasn't anywhere near the main problem tonight... if Nurk and CJ played half as well as RoCo, we win this thing in regulation.

I hear you. My point about asking him to do well on the boards when Denver starts 3 dudes bigger than him is still valid.

Toinght he had 11 boards and was good enough for us to win. If we're up 3-2, this series is over.

I’m not blaming any of our guys for not rebounding well, they aren’t being put in a good position. But we are missing our non shooter forwards and that was a problem I didn’t expect to be facing.

There has to be big changes in the off-season regardless of this series outcome
 
When you have a rotation in which half of the 8-man rotation are 6-3ish guards and another is an old, known defensive liability but occasionally gets a hot shooting night and yet another about whom one coach said they couldn’t play him because of his defensive liabilities, that leaves two players with any size to cover the other team.

Well constructed team?

Unless we can force others to play our game, we are at an inherent disadvantage.
 
Denver is too deep. They got Real GM. Monte mortis cappazo midget howard , Rivers all better players than Ant or even CJ. Cj is absolute dog shit. He is a number 2? Its a disgrace

Good point about making the other team play to our advantage. Denver relentlessly attacked our poor defensive centers every possession. Blazers spend half their possessions going iso CJ instead of attacking Jokic.
 
The only thing that matters is CJ must be traded, and stotts fired. We have to be honest and understand even if we advance somehow this team is getting destroyed against suns or lakers. CJ is arguably the worst number 2 ever. He is Iso brick machine who can get hot sometimes but mostly is pathetic playmaker lots of turnovers, doesn’t play defense, he is terrible. Imagine if Dame had Jrue Holiday instead of CJ. Look at Denver bench with 4 key guys out they are 10x deeper. They have a real coach. Little and DJ dont see any minutes. Our bench is absolute dog shit compared to denver. But if stotts was denver coach he probably play 8 man rotation and loose series

It turns out the letter O is how many fouls were called on Dame.

Also if we're going to whine about Joker not having fouls maybe someone besides Dame should drive at him and try to put him in bad positions. That being said, even if we did try to get him in foul trouble we wouldn't likely succeed. Look at his stats the guy doesn't foul at a high rate. He either gets good defensive position and doesn't swipe down or he lets people go by like he's a turnstile.

What makes you think CJ will be gone? What do you think we'll get in return?

I'm not saying I don't like the idea, but I'm trying to come up with a trade that another team would accept and Olshey would think is a good deal.
 
Btw, it goes without saying we’d win it all this year with a prime Rasheed. He is exactly what this team needs.

Damn we didn’t score after a Dame banked 3 with 3:45 left in the game. Incredible. That’s where we need to put some fresh legs in the game. That’s how we won the 4OT game in 2019. Hood came in and hit big shots.
