In your opinion, was Lillard's performance in Game 5 the best ever in an NBA Playoff game?

Hmmm, perhaps a competent backup Center would have been worth investigating? But of course Olshey has cornered the market on 6’3” guards.

My problem with Olshey and Stotts is it’s all about scoring and no value on defense. We have 2 defenders out of 8. Guys are penetrating left and right which makes it that much harder for Nurk to stay out of foul trouble. So he can’t even play as aggressive D as he could if we had some decent defenders around him.

I'm not watching the post game interviews because I'm just too depressed, but does Dame give the impression changes need to be made? Does he still want to be here in Portland based on his answers or his mood or whatever.

It's still going on, but the first question from quick was about if changes were needed and Dame said "no idea" and then a long pause and a sigh. He said more but I can't remember. Just more pauses.

To me it didn’t seem low key. He was talking about how we should see change in a couple days.

Quick asked him why it seems like their will be change. He said this is a talented roster and we continue to under achieve

It’s so obvious Nurk hates Stotts, or at least how he utilized him. And I don’t think he’s a longe ranger here, he just has the balls to say it.

It is truly unbelievable that the Blazers lost this series. No Murray, No Barton, No Dozier and the Blazers lost? Christsake, they got the best player in the league and they lost? What a bunch of chumps. I am glad they lost because I get sick of reading and hearing about how good they are and how there is never any mention of all the games they have won when the other team does not have its best players. Yeah, the Blazers went thru their injury times. But, they had the whole squad for this series against an extremely depleted Nugget team and they lost.

If Lillard had any brains, he would get away from this team asap. What a disaster they are!!! How the hell could they lose to the half-ass Nugget team without its point guards. Frankly, I am glad the Blazers lost, but I am totally amazed the depleted Nuggets knocked their over-hyped asses all over the court. Good for Denver!!!!!

It was you. You were the one that shamed anyone who thought Denver could even win a game, so its kinda funny to see this.

Thanks for sharing. Yeah he seems totally dejected as he should. I still think his heart and mentality belongs to being in Portland, but I know as good friends as he is with CJ, Nurk, Stotts and whoever else that this series loss really opens his eyes a little bit that changes need to be made. But it starts with getting rid of Olshey and Stotts first and foremost.

Asked again if a shake up is needed, Dame said "we didn't win the championship. I dont know what we need to do. Or what a shake up looks like. We didn't win with their 2 or 3 best players out. We just weren't good enough." (Partially paraphrased).

Dame is pretty much alluding to changes need to be made. It sounds like he's gonna ask for changes. He didn't say that, but it sounds like it.

I didn't get that sense at all. He gave his usually politically correct answers.

I’ve been saying he’s been over Stotts since about the spurs game at home, whenever that was. Stotts doesn’t have his backing anymore. He gone.

Kinda sad that the guy that we had been trying to get for over a year was the one to put the nail in the coffin. Meanwhile Norm misses a key three that might have given us a shot.

I also picked Denver in 6...

But it still freaking hurts. I was really really hoping I was wrong.

At least stotts will be gone. Cj only leaves if olshey leaves so I can hope for that.
Sorry i laid into you earlier. Just was not in the mood for the negative take until this game had happened.
Now we can all watch what happens and hopefully the Blazers come out of it a better team.

Fuck Powell too. Like I been saying the guy never ever hits the big timely shot. EVER

That's because I did not believe, for one second, that the Blazers with their entire squad available could lose a game to a Denver team with no point guards except Monte Morris and Austin Rivers, neither of whom were anything when the season began. So, I prepared myself for the Blazers to advance by touting a sweep. I can't stand the over-hyped Blazers and did not want to see them advance, but I had to face up the reality that Denver was going to lose cuz they had no point guards. How the hell could that Blazer team lose to a team with no point guards? That is what I mean by saying that the Blazers are totally overhyped. Can't wait to see what The Oregonian says now after this disaster. This is the biggest disaster in the history of this franchise. They lost the series to a team that had no point guards.

We also got annihilated on the boards. Every time we were lucky enough to get a stop we allowed a rebound.

But Aminu and Harkless still sucked and Melo will get calls in the 4th and win you some games and he’ll smile & laugh when he fucks up.

Lol.

You hated the over hyping of the Blazers so you over hyped them? Btw, you used the word reality in a hypothetical situation... and then the reality became the opposite of your hypothetical.

Like... wut?
