Game Thread PLAYOFFS - ROUND 2, GAME 1: Blazers @ Warriors - 5/1/16, Sunday, 12:30 (PDT), ABC

I expected this honestly. We had a day and a half to prepare a strategy. Warriors had a looonnnggg time. We will probably lose tonight, but it is a first step in making game plan adjustments. Playoffs are like a game of chess. Sometimes you have to lose a pawn early.

Oh my god hubie brown. I'm going to cut my ears off...

Hendo has one move off the dribble: start going one way, hesitate, then keep going.

Honestly, I'm totally fine with Hendo/Aminu not coming back after this season.

Way too fucking many offensive rebounds. They're barely missing, but when they do, they get it back half the time.

Did I say that? What? lol. That had nothing to do with what you quoted.
You were saying the rest of these playoffs mean nothing. Like we've already accomplished something. Championship or bust!

We just need to use this game to figure out matchups and what could work in game two. We did the same thing against the Clips. I just hope we can keep it somewhat competitive. I don't want to see us get completely destroyed.

Ugh. Might as well just let them have two shots every time...

Some people on here expect us to win a title or something this year. We lived up to the us against the world narrative and now we are facing the probable back to back champs here. I'm sure it will be more competitive in Portland but any logical fan knows that the Warriors are gonna win this series whether it's in 4,5, or 6 games.

I can already tell that I will despise draymond before this series is over.

Warriors aren't impressing me at all. They hit a few threes and you guys freaked out. We're fine.

Dame's defense has actually been pretty good. He's had high energy.

I feel like he actually is strong on defending in the post. I mean, if a player is tall enough to shoot over him, there isn't much he can do, but he doesn't just cave in and give ground easily and keeps them in front of him for the most part.

On the perimeter or anything involving screens though, he's bad.

No dude. You sound like the people who said w wouldn't beat the Clippers.

Eric you need to stop. Some of us are trying to stay sane by having very low expectations for this series. The alternative is to get really upset when we get destroyed by 30 points.

Didn't D Green just back CJ down for 12 feet while clearing him out with his off arm right in front of everyone and get a foul on CJ?

Is this what you guys watch these days?

Exactly. And if we win this game, that's gravy.

aminu hasn't shown me much besides defense and a very inconsistent threes ball. If we could get a scoring wing and have him as backup then I'm down. o wish we could grab whiteside. He's an elite defensive player and could still develop an offensive game. Fits the mold of young but character has yet to be fully determined.

Get upset or don't get upset, we can win this series.
