I think he was itching to shoot that first shot because he was calling for the ball and Dame ignored him trying to get it to Hood. Eventually it ended up back to Meyers but I think he lost that rhythm that a shooter has internally. The second shot wasn't a good shot but it was as the clock was winding down.

I don't mind him shooting them, I just don't like seeing our bigs do it as soon as they come into the game. Maybe run up and down the court a few times.

Denver's missed a lot of FT's. Blazers have missed.... everything? Both teams taking care of the ball for the most part. Blazers gotta stay calm, chip away. It isn't over but you cannot let Denver go on runs, gotta be quick (but also smart) with time outs.

They have both had their fair share of opportunities in this series. Its just a really bad match up for them both
