Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos filed a lawsuit to declare National Labor Relations Board unconstitutional. Both have seen labor union organizing at companies they own. They have, naturally, filed in Amarillo, Texas so case can go before favorite far right Trump judge.

Also in Texas, they aren't waiting for Trump to abolish Department of Education. All public schools are now to be explicitly Christian school.

Well, that might be overstating things just a tad (massively)...but yes, I see that there is a vote today on a statewide proposal to allow a curriculum that includes religious teaching to K-5 students, and pay schools an additional $40/kid/year if they adopt said curriculum. Definitely an attempt to end-run the establishment clause.

Maybe a similar problem to what we've seen in churches?

When you pay next to nothing and have bad working conditions for a job that puts people in control of kids you are more likely to find people who want to take advantage of kids seeking those positions.

Indiana county commissioner was elected to county council but had to resign without taking his seat after pleading guilty to a rape he committed in Nevada. A Republican who ran on anti trans platform, he had told victim what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Because Indiana law prohibits convicted felon from state or local office he had to resign and will do jail time. Not enough.
There is no prohibition on convicted felon running for federal office so Indiana could vote for Trump.
And the story gets worse. The victim decided to come forward. She is his daughter. He had taken her to Vegas to celebrate her 21st birthday and raped her.

Linda McMahon has been named as plaintiff by a group of young men who said when she ran WWF she lured them to announcer who sexually assaulted them. That she was aware of the abuse, fired the announcer but then rehired him.
Her husband Vince has been repeatedly accused of sexual harassment and rape.
If you wondered why someone with no education background got the gig, like attracts like.
 
Honestly, with the Democrats struggling to elect people but not having any problem raising money, I think the smarter play in our new legislative and judicial culture is just to throw money at purple legislators and buy them off like the GOP did a lot of on the state level the last couple of years. Get four U.S. reps and Dems control the house for the next two years.

I have a couple pretty bad tattoos. Nothing tied to nationalism or anything, just poorly done art. I really hope that would never disqualify me for a job. Either way, I'm glad this unintelligent asshole won't be in high office.

Just to be clear, Hegseth hasn't withdrawn or been pulled yet, but it's been reported that Trump was blindsided by the rape accusation and now all these other things are coming out and he sounds worse than Gaetz, so, IMO, he won't get through to confirmation hearings. There's just too much piling up against him.
