One medical doctor, whose identity the Daily Beast confirmed, commented with sympathy for Thompson’s family and said the killer should be charged with murder, but then wondered about the damage the CEO had done.

“I cannot even guess how many person-years UHC has taken from patients and their families through denials,” they wrote. “It has to be on the order of millions. His death won’t make that better, but it’s hard for me to sympathize when so many people have suffered because of his company.”

Sorry I was connecting your “he should have been prosecuted” with “this is a crime” and got a misplaced faith in prosecution for his crime leading to anything positive. My mistake.

The Trump voters have been indoctrinated. This almost comes across as blaming the victim. We've all allowed this to happen. We should all take responsibility.

From what I have seen and know about Musk as an individual -> I don't see him making that type of statement. He has plenty of flaws as a person, but making a statement like that would be out of character for him.

Yes - trust has to be earned AND is easily destroyed.

I'm skeptical by nature, but right now - I trust very little information that is out there. Many promote only hysteria and gaslighting.
 
I haven't gone on Twitter since election night. Deleted it completely. I urge everyone to do that.

I peek at bluesky but I don't miss any of it. I was only following to see him be held accountable and our country failed us.
 
House Republicans made final decision to not release ethics report on Matt Gaetz.
They plan another investigation into Hunter Biden, who has never held public office and has no plans to do so.

It was all part of his leaving and then "not being considered". He did it with the promise it'd be shut down.
