Which was terrible. Refused to allow desperate people to enter. This lack of response gave rose to refugee laws passed after the war, which Trump is nullify.

Player, when he learned what happened, tracked down young fan and gave him another hat and other memorabilia. A gentleman.

CEO took to social media to defend himself. Yes he took hat but he was faster. In life those who are faster get ahead. Like a grown man robbing a child. Also threatened to sue anyone who criticizes him.

Some are neutral, eg how many Senators are there, when was Declaration of Independence signed. But also refers to Lincoln waging Civil War, not Southern traitors. A lot of anti trans.

Ilhan Omar and her father came to this country as refugees. They settled in an unfamiliar environment. She learned English, got an education, worked in improving child nutrition and was elected to state legislature and then US Congress. Even if you disagree with her politically, she is a great American success story.

(A positive test means person has disease or condition. Usually you want test to be negative.) He is also a Navy officer who was reduced in rank over multiple instances of sexual harassment and drunkenness on the job.

He had his rank restored by DUI hire. Recognized a kindred spirit.

Republican senator Eric Schmitt of Missouri said quiet part out loud at National Conservatism Conference. Once a fringe gathering, conference now attended by Cabinet members, Congress people and in past years Vance. Conference included workshops on threat of Islam and overturning marriage equality.

Schmitt argued against concept that America is an idea or ideal that anyone can be part of. In speech What is an American he said that America is based not on ideals but on blood and soil. Americans are descendants of white Christian pilgrims who he alleges built this country (not slaves, god forbid, to acknowledge slavery is white guilt). Schmitt, who is of German descent and not one of the pilgrims, said immigrants cannot be truly American. That immigrants dilute and destroy the country.

He decried the "five little words" in Declaration of Independence, all men are created equal. Which Declaration called self evident. He opposed even more the Seneca Falls declaration that all men and women are created equal. Schmitt said clearly all men are not equal. And problems country has derive from misunderstanding that we are equal and anyone can become American.
