I think it has to do with a lot of things.

BUT:
1. Men are online too much and get maladjusted socially.
2. Women have dating apps where they have their choice of hundreds of men at any given time. They can be more selective, and usually they all select the same guys at the top.

Incel stands for involuntarily celibate. Most of us have been involuntarily celibate for some periods in our lives. But they fetishize it. The incel "movement" is based on extreme hostility to women. They believe beautiful women MUST sleep with them and if women don't they are bitches. If they do they are sluts.
They never think that maybe better personal hygiene or manners might improve their standing with women because in their view they don't have to do anything. Women are supposed to be available.
They are, overwhelmingly, white, straight, and Trump supporters.

Right wing heads exploded. It's an attack on America. Deliberately creating controversy. Right wing pundits who a week ago neither knew nor cared about collection of flutes are OUTRAGED.
Because a Black woman played a historic flute. Like Dr. Seuss and Potato Head and Black mermaid, this is an all out assault on everything real Americans believe in.
The greatest threat to our nation since President Obama wore a tan suit.

But this is the "rock bottom" thread. Not sure someone playing a flute is anything comparable to "rock bottom". Like, should I be expecting a flute band on every corner? A flutocalypse? People will care about music again? Feel free to fill me in.

This is a good example of why the seperation of church and state needs to stand. There is only one religion that is trying to take over everything. You don't see any other religion trying to push themselves on everyone here in the US accept one and it's so unnecessary. Christianity is being abused and injected into politics and school. And that fucking sucks. There are some great Christian people out there too.

This is an abuse of a religion. There is a difference between trying to spread the word to save people, and forcing it on people and using it to take people's rights away. That's wrong no matter how you look at it. And, it's unnecessary.

I'm down with Christianity. I'm down with Judaism, Islam, buddhism, Hinduism, Rastafari, etc. Spirituality is great, let those who seek it find it where they may. That's what this country was supposed to be about. Freedom to practice or not practice whatever religion you want.
