There are 75,000 homeless in LA. If they budget $1 billion that is $13k per homeless person, per year, just in city spending.

That's enough to cover the average 2br apartment price of $2,184 for 2 people as well as most of their utilities. https://www.apartmentlist.com/rent-report/ca/los-angeles

State and federal programs have more than enough money to cover the other needs.

This is a very solvable problem if we just choose to solve it.

If they had chosen to "solve it", It wouldn't be a problem in the first place.

Beyond that. There is plenty of money in the system to solve the problem. They just won't try to do so. As they "try" by throwing money at the problem... the problem is only getting worse. Why? They aren't going after the root cause of the homeless problem. Until they do, the problem will only keep getting worse, imo.

Exactly. We have chosen not to solve it thus far.

That's how Democrats are helping Republicans destroy this country. Fucking half measures that we know don't work. They can't work.

Fun fact: Hawley spent two years as a law clerk after law school, clerking first for Judge Michael W. McConnell of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit from 2006 to 2007, then for Chief Justice John Roberts of the U.S. Supreme Court from 2007 to 2008.

So he knew that was BS when he posted it.

California lawyer reports to police his credit card stolen and maxed. Also reports to credit card company.

Police do some checking and who do they find over and over on mall security cameras? This so called crime victim happily buying clothes, jewelry, accessories, and other cool stuff with supposedly stolen credit card.

So he has to pay it, and was arrested for filing false police report. And if convicted will be disbarred.

No word if he was one of Trump's lawyers.

Larry Kudlow was Trump's economic advisor, which probably tells you all you need to know. He railed on right wing media about Biden's environmental initiatives. Screaming they are going to make you drink plant based beer!
Beer is made from plants and fungi.
If there is any meat based beer I don't know what it is and fermented meat beer sounds unappetizing.
There are fermented dairy products. Yogurt. Kefir. Doubt
Kudlow consumes them.
