What is even going on? This is madness. Who thinks any of this is even slightly reasonable let alone ok? Y’all have lost your damn minds.

- Calling people pedophiles for no reason
- Disney
- Don’t say gay
- Ending Roe v Wade
- Voting against Insulin price limits
 
Sadly, I have learned, in the words of the Malvina Reynolds song, there's a bottom below.
Republicans already up in arms over freeze on student loan debt. Hoping marriage equality overturned. During Judge Jackson's hearings, brought up opposition to legalizing birth control and interracial marriage.

The GOP is trying to make the 1950's normalized again. Where you could make laws against them gays, them blacks, and you could marry young girls because that's our culture.

It's the last grasps of a desperate group (old white people) clinging onto the power they feel is their god given right.

I'm pretty happy go lucky when when I'm eating my crunchy butter cookies, the very definition of gay. Makes me want to wear multi colored clothing.
 
When the right called for boycott of Girl Scout cookies because they were teaching teens about birth control, I bought three boxes. Unloaded them onto coworkers.

This is 100% true. And not just the GOP itself, but anyone who espouses this crap. They're insecure about something.

It would be neat if there was some kind of study to show why people need to make up boogeymen to justify why they hate gays/blacks/minorities/lgbtq etc.

Freedom for me, but not for thee! Equality for me, but not for thee!

Your religion means jack shit to me, so don't dictate what I do or don't do based on your book of fables and myths.
 
There are studies. Insecurity about sexuality. Fearing loss of privilege. Seeking scapegoat for why things aren't good going the way they are "supposed" to. Group identity that demands someone be the other, not part of the group, gays, Jews, immigrants.
