Oh, I know. We are still mostly in the phase of fascism where they kind of try to be legal about it, while testing the waters in illegality. The next phase is going to suck.

Yep, they are dabbling in how much can they get away with and they are finding they can do whatever they want and leave their base to do the jail time and face punishment. They are owning the left pretty good right now, and the left can't really do anything except point and say look what they are doing. It's only going to get worse.

Tennessee Republicans are racist, power mad, and stupid.

Three obscure state legislators, virtually unknown outside their home districts, faced being expelled for opposing gun violence after three children and three staff were gunned down. They vote to expel two young Black legislators but the older white lady gets to stay.

The Tennessee Three are now internationally known. Vice president met with them. President Biden and Obama called them. They are doing the rounds of talk shows and expected to be featured everywhere except Fox on weekend TV. They have raised tons of money. And the expelled members expect to be re-elected.

Tennessee Republicans threatening economic reprisals against the cities where there districts are.

Due to gerrymandering Republicans hold a super majority. They can pass any reactionary law they want an can't stopped. But that's not enough. No one can even speak against them.

But they aren't drag queens so it's wholesome.

I'm starting to feel pretty optimistic, actually. The Republicans are acting so desperate and stupid lately that I think the end (for them) is coming sooner than we thought.

I may not have to flee the country after all. Although I'll keep the plans in place just in case I'm wrong.

Where are you holding up these days? Warm or cold water?

If things go south I'd like to apply for a position on your ship.
I've done a fair bit of baiting. Here's my audition tape:

Iowa will no longer provide emergency contraception to rape victims.

The sluts were probably asking for it.

Joel Koskan was Republican candidate for state Senate in South Dakota when he was arrested just before the election, charged with raping his step daughter for years, beginning when she was 12. He wasn't elected. He just took a plea deal that includes 10 years in prison, $20,000 fine and restitution.

When the victim, now a young woman, indicated she was coming forward, he texted her complaining she had promised not to tell.

He also used GPS to track her.

Koskan supports outlawing all abortion with no exceptions.

He is not a drag performer.

Sarah Sanders blames 'design error' for form asking job applicants to name something nice about her

The office of Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R-AR) is blaming a controversial state job application form demanding prospective hires write a short essay on what they admire about her most on a "design error," reported the Arkansas Times on Friday.

The strange requirement on the form, intended for people applying to serve on state boards and commissions, was first revealed earlier this week.

"News broke this week that the online application for people hoping to serve on one of Arkansas’s dozens of boards and commissions included the question, 'What is an accomplishment of the Governor’s that you admire the most?'" reported Austin Bailey. "The next day, that online application form was missing. It’s back up now, but the questions are different. And sure, the Sanders administration’s explanation about the snafu makes sense. Who among us hasn’t accidentally required job applicants to write 500-word essays on how great we are?"

According to Sanders spokesperson Alexa Henning, that question was intended only for people applying for summer internships, not official positions on state boards.

"It’s an interesting concept," wrote Bailey. "Here at the Arkansas Times, we never thought to pressure potential interns to spew accolades and sweet nothings about Publisher Alan Leveritt. Still, we’ll grant that requiring a loyalty oath from interns is slightly less cringe than requiring it of, say, an Arkansas Catfish Promotion Board member."

Its happening, This country has become similar to the muslim religion where you have people of the same region/location that want to kill each other, not just western infidels but Shia & Sunni.
Im seeing blue states getting bluer and red states getting redder for a number of reasons but one is political persuasion. The founders imo were damn smart in the way they configured the country and constitution and BoR's. Knowing people would be able to find where they fit the best in the way of thinking and respect to various freedoms. We now have a BiUSA which is fine imo as there will never be any real come together America anymore unless one side kills off the other, just like the Sunnis & Shia try to do too one another.

Tucker Carlson Duped By Fake Russian Propaganda Docs on Ukraine War

Tucker Carlson laid into President Joe Biden and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Thursday, accusing them of committing “crimes” in their support of Ukraine. He referenced a “leaked” Pentagon slideshow that, Carlson said, proves the American people are being lied to about the status of the war in Ukraine. “The second thing we learned from these slides is that despite direct U.S. involvement, Ukraine is in fact losing the war,” Carlson said last week. “Seven Ukrainians are being killed for every Russian. Ukrainian air defenses have been utterly degraded. Ukraine is losing. The Biden administration is perfectly aware of this.” As it turns out, Carlson is the one peddling lies about Ukraine to the American people—the slides he referenced were apparently doctored by a known Russian propagandist that lives in the United States. “Tucker Carlson pushed a fake version of a U.S. intelligence document about Ukrainian war casualties,” said Yahoo News senior correspondent Michael Weiss on Twitter. “It was doctored by a fraud podcaster who claimed to be a Russian woman from Luhansk. In reality, Sarah Bils is a former U.S. Navy clerk from New Jersey—and she pocketed all the money she claimed to raise for Russian causes.”
