It's probably just a movement programmed in to make it seem more sentient. That's the exact kind of thing that makes robots/ai creepy.

They aren't actually aware, so they do things they are programmed to do but which aren't appropriate in a given situation.

Former Trump Official is filing a lawsuit for lawmakers for 50 Million dollars because he says members of Congress have been underpaid. They make 174K a year, but haven't had a raise since 2009, which i think is also the last time they raised the national minimum wage. That doesn't take into account all the perks, and bribes, they receive. What a joke.

Despicable. It's people like this that give Christianity a bad name. Does he really believe that he is going to go to heaven when he dies, and God isn't going to point this shit out?

Yeah, Catholicism gave us "confession" as a way out. And I wholeheartedly agree with humbling oneself to another human and admitting our faults and weaknesses. It's a lesson in personal growth. But if there is a creator (and I believe there is) he/she knows bullshit when he/she sees it. And phony preachers like that cited are in for a rude awakening when they have to explain themselves at the pearly gates......

I would sincerely hope that St Peter would send these kinds of charlatan's packing.

Unfortunately, the fact that religion is based on faith makes it almost too tempting for those assholes to resist.

It's like the Vikings showing up during church on Sundays to easily kill whole villages in a matter of minutes.

Growing up, I was exsposed to a very heavy dose of organized religion. It did not stick.

Later, to find the answer. I studied many religions. None of them stuck.

Organized religion is not the problem. The problem is corrupt people that use religion for their own benefit. Anytime money and/or power over others comes into play. People will take advantage. Every religion has this problem.

I understand some people have found comfort in organized religion. I am happy for them.

This world would be a wonderful place to live, IF, there were no people.

Correct. Organized religion is not the problem. Making decisions based on blind faith is the problem.

Yeah I was raised in the Church…. When somebody can molest and murder innocent children, and then just say “Sorry” on the way out and it’s all good…..that’s not something I needed to raise my kids around.

My Pillow guy had promised he would be going to Supreme Court today to present proof election was stolen.
Today he said he was advised by anonymous people not to do so because his evidence is so secret and so explosive it would be dangerous.

I'm sorry that there are many fallible people who present an invalid picture of Jesus' gospel message. Fortunately if you want an more accurate version, there's a widely-available book that offers that.
