Technically interfering with an officer is a crime but they can exercise discretion.

So one of our useless as tits on a boar Oregon Senators crawled outta his bunker and made a belated appearance to complain about something that has little effect on most Americans at this point in time, rather than go after the big bullshit that actually affects the majority (if not all Americans) immediately. Classic political misdirection. What The Merk points out is extremely relevant but it's like putting out the motorcycle that's on fire in your driveway while ignoring that the entire house is engulfed. The politicians aren't gonna save us when they are an equal part of the problem. No wonder we're headed for another violent and bloody civil war......

It's very important not to push for anything that might negatively impact corporate campaign contributions...
