Took me 6 guesses. Once I had the team I had to look up their roster though to narrow it down.

1st try

I spend a lot of time on 2k and stat pages though lol
 
I guessed him correctly on the first try by just looking at his outline. No wonder I can’t maintain healthy relationships lol
 
Took me 4 guesses for todays'... I think most here will get it much sooner

I have the correct team's roster open on ESPN, and there's literally no player that matches the age, size, and jersey number range I've gotten.

Wtf.

Got it in 5 today.
Once you start doing it it's fairly easy.
Some luck is always involved but if you get the conference and division then pay attention to age and how tall the player is with position it falls together pretty quick.
5 to 6 picks and you should be there. People getting this in 2 or 3 picks either got lucky or they might look at pictures of players a bit more than others. You certainly would not know that silhouette from what you see on google for today's player.
 
Yeah, I sucked today (6). Got too hung up on a poor age assumption after picks 2 and 3 and wasted 2 guesses unnecessarily on two other guys on the correct team. Just dumb.
 
3/8 today. Got super lucky on my first guess getting team and age on first guess
 
I still don’t understand what all the boxes are for. I don’t play wordle…

Each box is a different category to help guess the player. Team, conference, height, age, position, etc. If you get it exactly, it turns it green, if you have like, right conference, but the wrong team, it'll be yellow, etc.

There is a how to play link above the game that tells you.

If a box is green it means you are right on for whatever box it is...you got the right team, division, height, etc.

If it is yellow it means you are close, within 2 of the number highlighted, so say the height of the player you picked is 6'7 and it's the wrong player but that box is yellow, the right player is within in 2 inches...if the arrow with it is facing up he is 6'8 or 6'9. If it is facing down he is 6'6 or 6'5.

I think doing the game threads has helped me alot with this.
