Has anyone noticed a massive increase in this shit? I've seen a bunch of people using the term"POC" to describe people of color. As a person of kind of color, it seems incredibly offensive to lump everyone that isn't white into one category, am I crazy here?

A POKOC, eh? As a person of lack of color, I'm not sure that it is we POLOCs that are the main users of the term POC. I could be wrong.

I see a lot of whiteys using it, but there are some "pocs" using it too, in the hipster crowd.

Politically Correct, Military Intelligence, Jumbo Shrimp, Great Depression...

I interview lots of people, for my job and one of our big questions is what does diversity mean to you? I always get a kick out of watching white guys squirm under that question trying to avoid the race issue.

Ceaseless SJW's are turning people against political correctness.

Such a stupid question, in a long line of other stupid questions. Why can't interviews actually be about the job?

I would say fuck race, lets talk about species. I'm a dog, dammit!

The bartender hates when I yell "SHIT COVERED TUNA CAN!"

But hey, that's what her pussy tastes like.

The national policy is to increase diversity, except for Communists, Fascists, Arabs mad about our torturing them en masse, American Indians (a race no longer of this Earth anyway--I wonder what happened to them), Socialists, Southern separatists, Pacific Northwest separatists, anyone applying for a job who's ever done time, anyone who holds something shiny in the presence of a policeman, I'm running out of room.

Look up behaviorial interviewing techniques. There is a whole science behind it and that is only a lead question, followed by asking for specific examples on diversity related situations and problem solving.

Diversity doesnt just mean race, by the way. Asking someone what it means to them is very telling. The job they are applying for requires teamwork and communication skills, so that question does directly relate to the job.

I went to an interview a few years ago and I was prepared for them to ask that question, and I was going to say it meant varying viewpoints and experiences. More than one background. etc. If you hire only people from Harvard, you will not have a diverse group of employees. Just my take.

bro is being used as a derogatory word nowadays. its our word dammit, you can't fucking use it bro.

Dencent answer especially if you add different cultures to viewpoints and experiences. Then a solid example of using other peoples different backgrounds or strenghts to achieve a goal. One of my favorite answers was "my football team", all different shapes, sizes, races, and even a girl teammate coming together to win the game. Standard canned answer seems to be, I needed something done and the person I spoke with only spoke languange X. So I grabbed my coworker who was fluent in that language and we got the job done. Moral here is the more creative and outside the box you are the better impression you usually make.

Yes, because Harvard is a university. If you want diversity, you need to hire people from Harvard and Yale.

I'd say it doesn't mean anything. Just assemble the best team and figure it out later. But then again I suck at interviews.
