I don't think we can make fun of OKC, at least they are making moves and trying to get their superstar some help. Cow town? They've been to more WCF than us this side of 2000... what does that make us?

I can't see how any player would like playing with Russ 1% chance he stays

Taking advantage of Indiana's obsession to fuck over the Celtics, Lakers, and Blazers is commendable, but OKC can always be made fun of. Trading James Harden, Blowing a 3-1 lead to the Warriors, Losing KD for nothing, basically ruining the league. This is all OKC's fault.

They're the North Korea of the NBA. They might seem small, but they will absolutely fuck shit up.

I am not so convinced there is zero chance. Right now it seems very unlikely that he will stay but you cannot predict people's feelings, what if he feels very well there and feels they can challenge for the titles with him? What if they can convince another big free agent to sign there next Summer somehow, or if their existing line up turns out much better than anticipated?

I'd say 25-30%.

Too early to say. It depends on how far OKC gets in the playoffs. If they don't make it to at least the western finals I say he is most likely gone.

Wow! This made me feel 100 per cent better about our situation. Thanks!

pretty unlikely to re-sign, but if they have a great year, that chance should go up. unless of course he gives no fucks about results and wants $ and the life outside bball of LA

I'm not even sure he finishes this season in OKC, Presti is very trigger happy when it comes to trades. He might use George to get young assets from Boston.

Presti is always thinking about getting young players, even when his team was contending.

I don't think there is any way in hell he re-signs in OKC, but I chose 1-25% because you never know
Exactly this.

This deal has a Boston-big-3-to-the-nets feel - if it doesn't work, it'll take literally 5 years to recover.

Why did HOU do that when they could have got CP3 for free?
My dear friend, have you ever heard of this thing called cap space?
They chose to trade Bev, Lou, and Dekker to get the cap space instead of a core piece in Anderson.

Yeah, not really. OKC gave up ZERO draft picks, a player on a terrible contract and another player who had the lowest PER of any starter in the league last season. They didn't exactly mortgage the future the way the Nets did.

Referring to OKC as Cow Town has nothing to do with the success of their basketball team. It has to do with cows.

Not Cow Town. I've lived here for over 28 years and I've never seen cows wondering the streets of Portland.

That looks like some quality beef roaming the streets to me!

Kevin Pritchard is a genius, this is all part of a backdoor deal he has already made with LA. Pritchard trades PG13 to OKC so PG13 can convince Westbrook to join him in LA so when Westbrook signs in LA the Lakers no longer need Lonzo and they ship him out to Indy for pennies on the dollar. KP just pritchslapped the whole league without anyone realizing it.

It doesn't matter how "little" you give up when you don't have much to begin with.
