I've already said in another thread that I'm more excited about Avdija than Scoot/Sharpe. But I'm also still a believer in Sharpe's natural gifts. If he can stay healthy, he's gonna pop this year.

Always Sharpe. I had so much faith that he was our next big thing after his rookie year. Last year was a total bummer with how he went down. This is his year to make the jump and I’m really hoping he pops. He has a lot of what I like to see in a star player.

SS, DC - but it's not as if I am not excited about seeing Scoot, Deni and TC. It's just that top-2 limit set...

That's an interesting year, imho

Scoot and Sharpe are it. Nobody else has close to the same potential.

Uh, Sharpe i guess. Not too much to be excited about past that

I have very little faith that Sharpe can stay healthy....
Dude had an abdominal injury last season, which according to everyone has slim to no chance of recurrence. His first season he played in 80 fucking games. What more do people want as far as availability?!? He's going to have a big year if Ant either isn't here or is told to stay out of Shae's way.

Bro you and that other dude don’t need to bring up Ant and Grant in every single thread, it’s old and tiresome.

We finally have a positive thread and let’s keep it that way.

He's a high flyer. Players that play like that have a tendency to get hurt often. Already lost one of two seasons.

Bad organization.

Last season, their strongest position was C. They had had 3, all young. So they use the 7th pick in the draft on a 4th one.

Two years ago, management declares 22yr old Anfernee Simons their floor leader of the future and extend him for 4 yrs $100M. Simons scores >20 ppg for the next 2 seasons, so they give up on him.

It’s hard to describe how bad Scoot and Sharpe are. Both are tremendous athletes, but raw, uncoached, and lost on the court.

From a talent perspective, Sharpe all day. Not sure he has the “it” factor though. I hope he proves me wrong. His body language and how he answered his questions on media day made me lose some optimism but that’s probably just me.

Dumb comments. Just because you're strong at a position doesn't mean that you shouldn't draft at the same position if the guy you draft is better. And who says we've "given up on" Simons? If anything I'm mad that we haven't.

Can't get too mad at the organization for taking Scoot and Sharpe. Who should we have taken instead? Maybe we should've traded down and taken Jaquez but if we had our FO would've been tarred and feathered. Turns out the Wemby draft was a one-player draft.
