Who do you want to face in the first round.

Edit: Shit this was supposed to be a poll

Lakers
Dallas
Denver
Utah
Phoenix

If a mod can turn this into a poll - thanks

In this order:

Dallas
Lakers
Phoenix
Utah
Denver

I know I've been saying I want the Lakers, which I do, but I can't ignore the fact that we'd probably have a little easier shot at winning 4 games against Dallas. I really don't want to start the series in Denver or Utah. We have to win that first game and I think our chances are not good in those buildings.

My order would be
Dallas

Lakers
Denver
Utah

I would much rather face Phoenix than LA. I also think that Utah is too physical for the Blazers so I would least want to face them.

In order of preference.

Dallas
Phoenix
Denver
Lakers
Utah

Sure we have a hard time winning in Denver, but I feel we have as good a chance of stealing one in Denver as they do of winning here. Plus, Martin will either be out or limited. Different team.

Dallas
Phoenix

Denver

Utah
LA

PHX! They play no D!

I want to face THE in the street. He's never been to prison!!!!

wait...are we still joking about that?

;)

That was pretty funny huh? Haven't heard from the ruff and tuff gangster since have we?

Denver is ripe for the picking. K-Mart being the big factor. Even if he does come back, which is questionable, it is unlikely he will gain confidence enough with his injury to perform at playoff level. Without K-Mart, Denver isn't nearly the threat in the playoffs they were before and the most likely home court team to be upset.

I know Blazers just lost to them. But that was on the second night of a back to back, in Denver. On top of that Denver just got done with a horrible roadtrip, had days off to recover . . . mentally it was basically a must game for Denver.

In the playoffs, there will be day rest between games . . . i just don't see tired legs happening, even in the mile high city.

Denver is still physical, which is not a good thing for the Blazer team. But I'll take an unhealthy Denver team over a healthy Dallas and Utah team.

Who in their right mind would want to face the Lakers in the first round?
