Just shake my head in silent disappointment.

Why? Someone wanting him traded because he sucks at defense and him fucking the franchise with his bullshit 1 team demand are two entirely different things
I have wanted to trade you for YEARS. Am I not allowed to boo your posts now!?!?
I will, for sure, take an anthropological approach and just observe, regardless of what the crowd does.
If I were to wager, however, I'd bet he'll receive a standing ovation.
Now that you mention it, you're not allowed to do that either... though not having you as the board heel and being on the right side of hoops debates will take some getting used to!
If it isn't in a game that is meaningful against our team, then I will always cheer for Dame. I don't love the way he's handled the last few months but before that he was basically flawless... his actions that I don't approve of were not unprovoked. So Dame is still my favorite player in the NBA and he will be (just like Clyde was) until someone else does something as a Blazer to supplant him.
I don't mean this as a personal attack on anyone but honestly after the team did exactly what the best player in the history of our franchise asked them not to do, I don't give a fuck (in the long run) how Dame made his exit. The idea that some of you, any of you would actually boo him after everything he has given to this team is fucking bullshit.
Yes. This was in the back of my mind while we were celebrating jumping to 3rd...In a way, getting lucky to get #3 made it harder for Joe to just trade it for a marginal improvement
For Dame it wouldn't matter how it went down just that it did go down the same way it did during Joe's first trade deadline which Joe never said he would do differently, then Joe's first draft which Joe told us and I'm sure Dame that he would push all of our chips in for a win now team and then again at Joe's second trade deadline and then again at this draft and free agent process. Every time Joe looked like he was doing a youth rebuild (with the exception of the Jerami trade which wouldn't be enough if I were Dame). So what Joe has done can be completely logical and what Dame has done can be completely understandable at the same time. The issue is we have no idea what went down.
If teams are asking #3 (Scoot) and Sharpe for someone like Mikal, I can see why Joe would turn that down. And if Dame is not happy Joe chose to do that, then I think Dame is being unreasonable.
I think if we never got #3, Joe would have traded that pick plus future picks whatever it takes to get Dame win now help. It might not be enough to put us in contention but Dame wouldn't have asked for a trade. In a way, getting lucky to get #3 made it harder for Joe to just trade it for a marginal improvement
a previous post Lillard tank might have drafted Keon Johnson. ..oh wait ... my badEasy no
And if you wanted Dame traded before this summer at any point in his career, I revoke your rights to boo him.

It surprises me you think that. It surprises me anyone, even those who put this all on the Blazers, think that. He and his agent took every bit of negotiating power away from PortlandI disagree with the general conclusion that he's screwing over the franchise. I think that's far over-simplistic, and frankly, Dame is not on my top 3 culprits for why this franchise is in a tough spot.
If you wanted him gone, and now he's granting your wish, be thankful.
Smh, showing your true colors. Go make some more false predictionsIt surprises me you think that. It surprises me anyone, even those who put this all on the Blazers, think that. He and his agent took every bit of negotiating power away from Portland
Not sure what one has to do with the other? Also not sure what “true colors” I’m showing? Did Dame and his agent not do that?Smh, showing your true colors. Go make some more false predictions

if that were actually true, I'd think we wouldn't be hearing all these rumors about Toronto and other teams being interested
right from the start you've put 100% of the blame on Dame (that after advocating for months for Portland to trade him). I didn't like the tactics of Riley's puppet, aka Dame's agent, but I know that didn't happen in a vacuum. Olshey, Cronin, and the Vulcans were the primary engineers of Dame's demands.
And contrary to the notion it was completely unprecedented, I remember that Deron Williams was all-in on the Nets; Melo was all-in on the Knicks; KG was all-in on the Celtics.
Dame's camp just took it one step further and it wasn't as big a step as people imagine. Pretty clear Dame feels the Blazers mislead him. And divorces can be ugly

Garnett's team was horrible with a bad roster and nothing to show from it in the draft.Garnett has said for years that he does not want to leave his beloved "Sota," as he calls it, consistently refusing to push for a trade even with the Wolves missing the playoffs each of the past three seasons.
