I have us winning by 20 so the bench needs to keep the lead here at the end

Nice that we're winning, but we're playing our starters big minutes while they're spreading the minutes around. It's just not in Stott's nature to play the bench. He's like Thibodeau - he just can't do it. So what if they blow the lead - it's fucking preseason.

Yeah, why no Robinson?

Hand protection in both senses. They don't want anything to happen to reverse his healing in the preseason. And Stotts doesn't want to show his hand in the preseason.

Blazers putting their starters in to protect the lead????? Who cares, it's pre-season.

Coach Stotts said:
"I think we'll probably extend the starters minutes a little bit. Playing at altitude tomorrow night will be a good test," he said following the team's final practice before flying to Colorado for a game against the Nuggets at the University of Colorado in Boulder on Tuesday. "We're not really looking at a lot of new things, but I think we've got the things in that we need. Now it's just making sure that we're consistent and dialed in to what we need to do opening night."

Now all five starters are back in. Meanwhile they have NONE of theirs.

Doesn't Randy Foye always do well against us? It's 'cos we traded him for Roy, isn't it? He's +11 for them right now.

I just looked at the box score. Didn't see the game. Does our bench STILL suck? 22 bench points?

CJ couldn't throw a basketball in the ocean tonight, Kaman went down with a cut in back of his head from the defenders teeth. Bunch of turnovers at the end. Without Blake and Kaman, only Barton contributed much though Freeland played good defense and Wright had a good first half.

Jazz are gonna make the playoffs. Not sure who will drop off but their roster is stacked and due to make a jump this year.

No they won't. They'd have to improve by at least 25 games to make the playoffs this year (I think it's fair to say 50 games is what teams will need to make the playoffs).

Portland improved by 21 games last year and that is uncommon.

Jazz with the new coach played the starters big minutes almost every preseason game. Most teams didn't. I think their success came from playing other teams bench players for the most part

The Denver coach ran it like an exhibition game's supposed to be played, to risk the loss in order to try new things. Their best player Lawson didn't play. Our subs are stuck in a rut, not developing for years because of Stotts.

why do you say none-sense things disguised as intelligent things?
