.....and how are police supposed to know whether or not he has a weapon? They're just supposed to believe him if he says so?

See, this is where you begin to lose credibility. There's a LOT of dead cops who were too complacent when they shouldn't have been. Or questioned themselves at the moment of truth and hesitated.

Just ask Deputy Kyle Dinkheller how that worked out for him....or rather, his widow.

He was running away from them in the dark. Aaron Campbell was shot in the back while fleeing...

I don't lose one bit of credibility. Conversely, how does a 16 week police academy give a cop credibility? It shouldn't but the law treats them like they deserve it. They don't.

I think this is a great point. People always talk about the stress police are under, but it's also true that people being confronted by the police are under stress as well and don't have training to deal with it. The idea that a (non-violent) error in judgement or a false motion should consign them to being shot ten times is hard to swallow.

The police don't have the training to deal with it either.

I'm sure you're the expert on police training, huh?

16 weeks is also not taking into consideration a further 3 to 6 months (depending on location) of FTO (Field Training Officer) supervision that they receive once they hit the street. Nor the fact that most police officers will take courses in Quantico from the FBI at some point in their careers.

Every Chief we've ever had here in Vancouver was trained very well at Quantico, in both command structure and field tactics.

But hey....I guess the FBI doesn't know anything about police training either, right?

Whooptie do. My thousands of Bf3 helicopter one shot kills were better. Oh look, a heli on the other side of the map....

I'll get it with a tank shell. It's just timing.

Let's see how her "Let protesters burn the city to the fucking ground" policy works before we pass judgement.

Portland: Welcome to your future.

So, in retrospect, how was she?

I think she did pretty well. However, it's clear she used Portland as a stepping stone. I don't have a problem with that though.

Why? I'm overjoyed by this selection. Black women from Oakland don't take shit.

Just another unqualified political opportunist with a record of failure, undeservedly promoted over scores of highly deserving police veterans.

Affirmative Action is pure racism.

And now, after failing twice in gift-wrapped opportunities she is handed a third un-earned position which will weaken yet another city's safety and security.

Can she get Melo to waive his NTC to come here?

She actually prevented it by coming here. He has seen what she did to Oakland.

But as soon as he heard the rumors that she was leaving he called Neil, and the rest is history.

I'm surprised you don't like her. She didn't take any shit from the liberals or ANTIFA.
