Starting the game thread now because it's an early, early game tomorrow. Don't forget to set your DVRs!

Camby, who did not play against the Rockets because of a sprained left ankle, was walking around better Sunday in New Orleans but said he has not healed enough to play today against the Hornets.

The Blazers' starting center injured his ankle during the second quarter of the Blazers' 99-83 loss to the Spurs Friday night and the team isn't sure when he will return. He's officially listed as day-to-day.

McMillan said he will stick with the same starting lineup he used Saturday, inserting veteran Kurt Thomas into Camby's spot at center.

I'm okay with Thomas starting again, since the Hornets start two legit centers. Hopefully Batum gets the bulk of the minutes again though.

Happy MLK Day!

We need to stop our 3 game losing skid by winning this one against the team with the worst record currently in the Western Conference.

GO BLAZERS!

So is it just a coincidence that Camby suffered another sprained ankle with a game against Toronto a couple days away?

Thank you do much dark web for the sexy pre game thread setup! Please do or start all new threads!!!!!

I don't think we will, MM. I sense this is going to get worse before it gets better.

Literally minor adjustments are all that is needed. Portland is in no way an elite team, but they are much better than NO, and should be able to put them away pretty easily if they pressure their guards and stop setting up Wallace in the corner for 3's. Rotate Bayum to a starter and rotate him to Ray Felton's spot and have LA up top feeding Wallace in the low block. This allows Matthews and Batum to both slash and cut off picks from Felton. Since Portland doesn't have strong pick players, it's not a bad move to use a PG because they tend to draw a lot of fouls from guys trucking them. Makes the defense have to play a little more relaxed on picks, forcing them to go under. Leaving our three best outside shooters, Matthes, Batum and Aldridge all available for a mid range shot. It's an extremely simple fix, and one I hope to see tonight

Wow, the offensive execution in this game is AWFUL.

I am having Joanna pick me up and I got it DVR'd. Is the game ugly? I see we have a 16-9 edge.

Wallace is starting to annoy me with all the gimme misses.

The Hornets are a halfcourt team with no halfcourt talent. Monty, what the hell are you doing?
