Jefferson owned slaves for fucks sake.

I'm not opposed to name changes of schools (etc), but as long as it's just putting a pig in a tuxedo, the underlying issues will still be there.

C: Believing something at 12 is not the same as owning people and thinking they were not humans...*as an adult*.

Not that I know of, though Scientologists are certainly crazier most. The Jesuits sold it to the Scientologists who added a bunch more buildings on the grounds. I believe it’s now called the Delphian Institute (or School). Ask @THE HCP. He played football for them too. Three seasons as a senior........#BAM

He said that Virginia had a law against freeing slaves. And he did argue against it in both our Constitution and as a general way of life.
You simply can't compare him to most slave owners.

Did I ever tell people in here that my brother-in-law had dinner a few times with L. Ron Hubbard? My brother-in-law was a young boy but his parents knew Mr. Hubbard. From what I hear, Hubbard was a real fruit cake and that makes sense to me.
