I have to admit to being rather self-satisfied for predicting their point totals before they even suited up. Oh yeah.

Kaman has surprised me, though, with how skilled he is. I really think if Aldridge went down for an extended period we could recoup a lot of his lost productivity by playing Kaman more.

Gotta say though, I certainly didn't expect double digits out of Kaman. Biggest surprise on the early season for me.

Blast from the past! I wonder what the record is for most tours of duty with a team? At times last year, I actually thought Portland would be better off with a backup like Blake, someone who hits his 3s, controls the ball and doesn't commit a lot of turnovers. I think we have more firepower off the bench that can be utilized if it weren't for ball hog mo.

Notice how once again, I was a shining light in the midst of darkness with the Blake signing, just as I was with Kaman!

Geez what's up with the Blake hate? I know he wasn't that exciting as a starter, but he's definitely a player who won't hurt you off the bench. And with the way things have gone the last two years, Portland will take a bench that can hold it's own.

Blake has always been a slow half court guard, Mo would be a better fit for this attacking style upbeat attack. Instead we are going to see people like Barton get buried on the bench because Stotts will run a slow half court offense with Kaman in the post and try and do essentially the same thing as the starters which Barton does not fit because he is not a good 3 point shooter.

Can you unrep people? This deserves loss of rep IMHO.
