Parents took me to china town in the 90s. Truly nothing like it.

My daughter took me to a place last month and I couldn’t believe it…..just fantastic food.
 
Maybe some of the best I’ve ever had. We were the only non Asians in the joint, which is always a good sign.

They aren't on the same topic. One was about initial reports of a sale a month ago. This thread was about the sale being signed.

For hardcore posters like you that read every post maybe it doesn't matter.

Often I don't want to read a long thread with months of prior posts. I just want to read a small thread with current activity.

If a trade is rumored and we have a topic about it and discuss it, then a few days later the trade is official. Do we need a new thread to discuss the trade again because now its official. NO, we dont.

Correct I did it to magnify the stupidity of another. They are purposely clogging up this forum. I’m done, he/she will continue.

I and other posters prefer new threads. You and HCP and whoever prefer keeping threads going for thousands of posts.

There is one thread on the Blazers sale. Is it really such a problem that its listed here among 19 threads that mostly have nothing to do with the future of the Blazers?

Nearly half the threads are about other sports. Why don't we combine all of those to one single thread called OT - Not NBA?

Is it really such a problem to simply type your post in a thread already ABOUT what you’re typing about? I don’t understand the issue here. What would you want to combine 19 threads together in ONE that have nothing to do with each other?

I've had amazing Chinese food in my life... I was informed in each instance that it wasn't exactly traditional.

I prefer Japanese and Thai when choosing from that region of the world but there is great Chinese food and I would say very average Chinese food is better than very average food from a lot other regions of the world.
 
Why I didn't merge this thread with the Tom Dundon thread:

It's pretty simple, the Tom Dundon thread was 650 posts long before the official announcement was made by the Paul Allen estate. There are people who visit the forum when there is breaking news and when the season starts. The official announcement of the Blazers being sold deserved its own thread, and that announcement didn't need to be buried deep in an existing thread.

Also, the existing Dundon thread had a ton of speculation that the team would or could or might or whatever move to another city.

Considering that there have been multiple threads started wondering when the PA Estate will sell the team, it seems right that we have one thread when it officially happens.

Where only one new thread a day will be allowed.
