Soccer should also have both teams line up and one person "hikes" the ball to a player. That player throws the ball to another player. Then that player runs to a zone at the end of the field. Once he gets inside that zone he should kick the ball, since that seems really important to soccer fans, and is given 6 pts for getting the ball in the zone at the end of the field.

I'm ok with them, in the future someday, making it so there's no such thing as a hand ball. Kind of like getting rid of goaltending.

The yellow players are way better at running into the green players and falling down.

When I was young I was very good at falling down, but no one told me I could have a career in soccer.

Didn't you put that falling down skill to good use by becoming a drunk?

Yes, and it's been a long and successful career, but it doesn't always pay that well.

Crazy how many close calls there have been in this game.

I thought only the goalie could knock the ball out of the goal with his hand?

All these crazy saves by the columbus goalie seem to make me feel the Columbus team will score. :(

Where's the car burning party?

Flounder fans right now

I'm just so proud for this City. We get shortchanged by those assh-les up North and aren't considered for major sports franchises. This City has a fandom that's unique. And we just showed that we can harbor a championship franchise, even if it's just soccer...

Oh and BTW, F-ck Seattle.

Timbers were the aggressor in the second half. Good for them!
