The Portland Trail Blazers tied up their cap space in bringing the band back together in free agency this summer, but that doesn’t mean they’re not well positioned to make big moves in the future.

Unless you have a superstar, "assets" are entirely relative. Relative to the needs of the other team, relative to the perception of the other team's GM. If you're lucky, you get a Danny-Ainge-with-Sebastian-Telfair situation.
It also depends a lot on how much playing time the player gets, which is likely to be a problem with our guys. But, assuming that Lillard will never be traded while Olshey is our GM, our #1 asset is obviously CJ, not least because we have Crabbe just waiting to step in to his slot.
