Thanks man, I guess I am a Blazers fan now considering I haven't watched a Pistons game since 05'. So who are some good players I should know about?

I'll give a short run down of each player, and I'll try to order by importance.

Brandon Roy: aging 3 time allstar, had doulbe knee surgery, not quite the same anymore

LaMarcus Aldridge: 3 seasons as a soft PF, this year transformed into a snubbed Allstar calibur banger

Andre Miller: aging assist leader. well rounded glue guy

Marcus Camby: Aging Center, block monster, and defensive specialist

Gerald Wallace: Recent trade, 1 time all star, multiple defensive honors. Still adjusting, will be great when he fits in.

Wesley Matthews: 2nd year player, defensive specialist, bursts of offense

Nicolas Batum: defensive specialist, young streaky shooter

Rudy Fernandez: reformed Emo spandiard, becoming more consistent on both ends of the court

Patty Mills: very mediocre back up PG, LOTS of energy on and off the court. Some say he turned around the Emo side of Rudy to being positive.

Greg Oden: injured number 1 draft. Played a total of 1 season, in 3.5 seasons worth of being a Blazer.

Ya, it would be so sweet if Oden is healthy all year next year and the this team is healthy all year. That would be special.

LOL! That was a really good job!

Rep'd!

I'd settle for 20 minutes a game of Oden if it kept him healthy for an entire season. But I don't think it works like that (sigh).

With the lockout coming up I think we will be injury free next year.

Sounds like a pretty solid the Blazers have, better than the Pistons. They road the Billiups, Rip, Rasheed, Big Ben, Prince train a little to long. They never prepared for the future and now that the team is so old they just blow now. The only really good player I guess the Pistons have now is Ben Gordon. I loled when they got T-Mac, I was telling my friend yeah that would of helped the Pistons if it was 2002 again. lol, I will have to watch the game for sure, I think it will start here at 9 PM for us in the EST time zone.

i know it was the kings, but still hard to believe the cavs won on the road last night

Nate postgame:

When asked about Gerald Wallace coming back in the 4th: I'm the coach, I'll get my players out when I want.

When asked about Armon Johnson: He get's up shots

I'm starting to like Nate showing some spunk.

Who was that white guy who dribbled that whole possession like he was playing a game of NBA Street and missed the fadeaway jumpshot after doing all that useless dribbling.

Rudy Fernandez from Spain.

Ya, I liked that too. He's got a 2 year extension, screw the media. :)

Totally agree. That was probably the only post game interview of Nate's that made me laugh out loud. That was awesome. He's getting a bit of personality, ditching the Sarge is good.

From ESPN:
As bad as it was for the Cavaliers, it still wasn't their worst loss of the season. Cleveland fell 112-57 at the Los Angeles Lakers in January in the worst loss in the NBA since Feb. 27, 1998, when the Indiana Pacers beat the Trail Blazers 124-59.

Woof. I remember that game... painful to listen to on the radio.

I remember that game too. It got so bad that Schonz decided to start the game over and started going on about it was "2-2".

I'm still waiting for the Blazers to beat the Pacers badly, but realize no one plays on either team anymore, and actually, I don't think anyone who played in that game is in the league anymore.

Actually, after doing some research, Jermaine O'neal is still in the league. If what he's doing can be considered "still in the league".

First game I've been to in a few years and it's over in the first 15 minutes...It was good to see Greg without a cane! Getting to touch the game ball as it passed through the stands before the game was pretty cool. How long have they been doing that? Back again on Saturday. Hope it's a little more competitive!

Yes the fact that the opponent was cleveland does damper the margin of victory. However I can not remember the last time the Blazers played such a complete game from start to finish.

Wallace was amazing. His stats are bullshit btw. There is no way he only had 2 BS. (Hell he had 2 in 2 seconds) He was all over the place. Great passing, great block shots, drew about 5 OF's, attacked the basket. That was the most complete game by the team and by a player in years.
Regardless of the competition, it sure gives us all hope. I love small ball when you can pull it off.

Again the passing was awesome.

It's still fucking stupid. Scrubs should have been in from AT LEAST the 8 minute mark.

LOL @ him getting defensive about it. He needs to get called on that because he is always slow as molasses when clearing the bench.

But that said, this was a sweet play that I can't believe happened in the MIDDLE of an NBA game. A three man weave drill. Ha!

No, no. Nate's logic was to get the guys to jell more. I get that. Especially since the trade for Wallace. Sure, it's a fine line between chemistry and injury, but Nate knows that if his team stands a remote chance of winning in the playoffs they're going to need to jell more. It's a calculated risk, and I'm all for it.
