Our freethrow defense has been amongst the worst in the league all year. I remember posting earlier this season, imploring Nate to teach these guys how to defend the freethrow. We give up one of the worst freethrow percentages in the league. Unexecptable.


On a real note. WE gave a valiant effort tonight. We played terribly, but came pretty close to winning the game actually. It is a loss, but at least we came back.

they talked about it at the beginning of the game. portland is last in the league in free throw percentage against. which of course has nothing to do with the blazers, but it is what it is.
 
Crap. Now we have no chance. Tough loss. We didn't play well.
 
If there's something called a "Quality Loss" I think this would count.
 
Well, it was respectable. We were in position to steal one at the end, which is sometimes all you can hope for on the road against a quality team.
 
Didn't see what happen but we lost another close comeback in the 4th again.

honestly, i'm tired of the "give em credit for trying", maybe we shouldn't fall from behind so fucking often?

Blake can't make a FT at the end of the Clipper game but makes them when he isn't trying lol.
 
At least we made a game of it, but too many mental mistakes earlier cost us the game.
 
Now Blake makes the free throw when trying to miss it? Where was this in that Clipper game earlier in the season.
 
That's a tough loss. Tough loss. But we're still tied with Houston for losses and we're in 5th place. Not too bad. Would've been nice to win.
 
That's been the story of the season for this team on the road -- LOTS of streaky play. Seems like they need to get into a big hole in order to really focus and bear down.

Yeah...but we go to SA tomorrow. That is MORE than likely 2 straight losses. That really hurts.
 
This was just like a game in Houston last year where LMA kept shooting jumpers and missing. We have to have a better gameplan than that. Well, we weren't going to win the rest of our games. Let's beat SA.
