I don't see one.

HUGE GAME TONIGHT!

Banner moment for the season. Can you think of a bigger game over the course of the last few YEARS?

I cannot.

In any case. This is where we talk about it.

We need Joel to stay out of trouble... big time.. the thought of Channing Frye having the task of Yao... yikes!

My prediction from earlier today (while speaking with co-workers).

Blazers go 0-3 on this trip, they finish 8th in the West.

Blazers go 2-1 on the trip, they finish in the top 5 in the West.

Blazers go 1-2 on the trip, I have no idea!

HAVE to win tonight. Going to SA tomorrow, 2nd of a back to back.....almost un-winnable.

We have to hope for a Blazers win tonight, and a Dallas LOSS tonight (vs SA) after two overtimes.

And we historically suck in Houston. Has there been a bigger game since......when? YEARS.

And we historically suck in Houston.

I'd say we've had our fair share of success in Houston back in the JR Rider-Sheed days if I remember.

Historically sucking are places like Golden State, Philly, Cleveland, Dallas, San Antonio and Phoenix.

Huge game. Huge game. But not do or die. We beat them in Portland and they're at home and playing good basketball. It's definitely a big game but those two games against Denver were also huge as I stated back then.

Also, our last game against Utah was huge. If we lost, we would've given the tie breaker to Utah and they would've gained a game on us for the playoffs. It was a very very big game.

As for last season, one of our biggest games of the year was, incidentally, against Houston in Portland. It was the first game after that first road trip I went on. We stumbled during that road trip and needed to recover. Houston needed a win to get back in the playoff race and we ended up giving it to them. Big momentum changer.

And probably the biggest game of last season was the game against Denver where Iverson hit the game winner. We really needed that one to keep pace with Denver. We fell apart after that.

Is anyone else thinking about tivoing the game so as to watch Obama speak?

No, this road trip determines if we're contenders or pretenders. Plain and simple.

HUGE GAME!

Can someone explain why the lighting in places like Houston and Indiana look so different than Portland? It just looks like a poorly lit high school gym.

Looks like some Memphis-like attendance in Houston.. Guess they dont think this game as important as we think it is.

Sure is nice to have Steve back isn't it?
